Do you think that about Gothic.net?

In my point of view this happens in almost all the forums; the original idea of a forum is often carried out by some friends who want to do something based in their ideas, but as soon as people begin posting there will be always things that creators may haven't thought about...

I think we can do our best trying to carry on Gothic.net, although the circumstances may not be as good as we/creators had expected..

I think message boards are sort of a microcosm of actual society. After all, no matter what group you're in, you're going to get the whiners, the trolls, and what-not.

It's a living organism, and constantly shifts. Give it time, and it'll shift in a new direction, again.

Yeah, we do all that, but we do it in style, with proper orthography and vocabulary, spelling and grammar (when possible).

I say people should also stop showing off umlauts and estets! It's so much easier to use an umlaut or estset while writing "Ich muess meine geige ueben". Of course, I could just say I hafta go practice my violin...
