I just spent some time listening to cradle... and they're crap. I put them in the same category of crap as so many other DeathMetal bands. They have moments where they pull off a bit of melody but by and large every track is the same. the guy is generically gutteral and the chick gives me a migraine. I tried but no - they suck.
If you like the way she screams you'd be better served by bands like Crisis and Hansel und Gretyl. Even Kitty and Bloodflowerz are far better.
For this kind of music "Rawr, waah, speed guitar" - Penumbra and seraphim shock - even Nevermore - are better. A little more variation in their music and not so numbingly fast all the time.
If the percussion and fast pace is what gets your attention I'd recommend bands like Fear Factory, Grip Inc and anything featuring Dave Lombardo.

I've never liked Cradle of Filth. At one point most of my friends did, so I gave it a chance. I never even noticed when one song ended and the next began... also, I don't understand why they have lyrics if no one can understand them anyway.

Their Lead Singer, Dani Filth, sure I can do a good impression of his stupid face and imitate his retarded teste pop voice...But I just really hate him, and his 'Hardcore Gawfick' band...
