Finally I know what "Xnguela" is! However even if it is a code, is there a way of pronouncing it? Because reading it makes brings my pronunciation brain cells to the brink of suicide, especially since I have that terrible habit of reading everything out loud to myself.
My own name is taken from the Sex Gang Children song "Arms of Cicero" (as I mentioned in my intro thread). The song is of great meaning to me, and Cicero has a nice flow to it. It's even gone as far as some friends calling me by it instead of my real name. It isn't so much a reference to the Roman Consul as I was never too fond of him, although he certainly did some good things for Rome.

I'd say Zen-GOO-lah. At least that's how I perceive it.

I have a confession to make: when I got my login for the boards I kind of was in a hurry. So I simply named myself DarkIce. There´s no story primarily behind this. Also I might add, that I love ice in my Long Island Ice Tea *har-har* But after googling for a pic (avatar) I wrote my intro (see the Titanic thing there) and all suddenly made sense.

Now that's interesting, 'cause I was going with Zen-GWELL-a (although I was still thinking about the Zen bit, to be honest).
Sorry, Xng, hope you don't mind us discussing your name....? How do you say it?

I think that it's pronounced "Zing-gway-lah" - there's been discussions about it before.
Someone was talking about the correct pronounciation in the Randomness thread yesterday.

well I think we all probably pronounce it differently based on our regional accents.
I pronounce it (in my head primarily) as zing-well-la
**edit actually I take that back...it probably is 'way' and not 'well' because there isn't two l's

Of course you can ask
It's pronounced the same as the English word "Dove". Although that can change depending on the region - in the north of Ireland it's pronounced "Doo". And it would be similar to Welsh, as they are both Celtic languages.

I picked noveleigh for 3 reasons.
1) Novel was chosen as an adjective because I am a little bit unusual in ways.
2) Novel as a noun because I love to read.
3) Leigh because it's my nickname as well as my middle name.

Kaali is the Indian goddess of darkness/night. It's nothing too personal. I just wanted a name I could relate to.

"I'm your nightmare in shining armour, screamin' horror!" is a line from a Wednesday 13 song called Curse of Me.
I just liked that name so I used it.

It's kinda long story.
Let say it's sound alike with the rest of my gang.
Shade - Chill - Sheelal - Shark and Liliar < This is weird.

Waaaay back I was really into kung fu movies. It is a handle I have carried into adulthood. My sn is from the Bruce Lee film also known as 'The Big Boss'. I really liked the shortened 'Fisty' folk began to call me. Just kept using it. Still love it.
