I went through a few different phases, from the Silver/Golden age Marvel/DC comics (I submitted a storyline to DC that got a well deserved rejection letter), the EC Horror tales, the acid head underground books to the SLG and Fantagraphics library. Robert Crumb is probably a favorite. Alan Moore is good. Renee French did a series called Grit Bath that's twisted and wonderful. Haven't had much of a taste for them since reading Sandman...probably a typical cliché for this site, respectively.

Witchblade - I love it. Also manga Tsutomu Nihei's work - Knights of Sidonia.

What comics do you read

Obviously we all read Usagi Yojimbo, but what other series do you get when they come out?
Off the top of my head, I read everything Hellboy related, Daredevil, Batman, Groo the wanderer, and a few others. I have stopped reading a few of the titles that I do not enjoy as much so that I can focus more on reading Usagi Yojimbo.

Here's a really great comic book that in my opinion has not been read by enough people.

The Cosmic Unemployed

It's quite goth, too, I mean, just take a gander at these beauties:

Also, I preferred the horridly underappreciated Dreaming over the Sandman. I mean the original from the 90's with a superb run by Caitlin R. Kiernan. Haven't tried the re-heated one, yet, though I plan to give it a go at some point.

Also, also, it's a real shame what happened to Vertigo.
