Yeah! Actually I did! Very much so... Apart from the epilogue. I mean, it wasn't awful, just made me cringe a little. But all in all, I thought it was good. =D

That's exactly what I was thinking. There was no need for that end bit.
& the names he gave them were a bit cheesy.

I've never been much of a Potter fan, but that could be a result of suffering through way too many years of jokes on my name (Harry) and the fact that my initials are H.P.
I'm currently starting on Anne Rice's Interview With The Vampire, I like her portrayel (sp?) of vampires, it is an interesting change.

BH - it's "portrayal". Anyway, I absolutely agree with you; I was absolutely fascinated with the first four books or so, mainly because of the characters (esp. Claudia and Lestat).
At the moment I'm reading "Angélique" by Sergeanne Golon and (re- reading) Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Grey". I just can't get enough of that book.

Suggestions for good goth books?
I've read Dracula, and I'm a big fan of the Demonata series. Any other books that are a goth must-have?

I'm sure you'll get a load of responses there, but a quick word to the wise, the board regulars like it if you go to the introduction forums, read the stickies and post your answers to the 13 questions there before you get stuck into the forums...
Quick! do it now!

Hah, you're not the only book nerd, don't worry. I've got nearly 20 books lying around that I still need to get to. They'll have to wait until I finish HP 7 though, which may take a while because I seem to suddenly have tons of other crap to get done.

I just started From The Dust Returned, by Ray Bradbury. I picked it up on a whim from the bookstore today, and I'm having trouble putting it down. It has a feel to it that I think will appeal to many of the people that frequent this site.

I loved ******, though the teach took it away when she saw it. Sigh.
I am currently reading impulse, by Ellen Hopkins. It's written in verse, very interesting.

Well, I finished 'Interview With The Vampire'. Damn I love that book. I agree that Lestat is a very interesting character.
I'm now beginning Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe's Faust, as translated in the original meters by Bayard Taylor.
When I finish Faust, I was pondering hunting down my father's old copy of Dante's "Inferno". Good idea? Bad Idea?

The last book I read was the conclusion of the Soldier Son Trilogy by Robin Hobb. I need to get down to forbidden planet to get another book - probably next weekend.
