I wrote a serious and sophisticated poem based on Shakespeare's works. I hope you like since it is relevant today. Inspired by today's encounter with Indian food.
From Ham let
To eat or not to eat: that is the question
Whether tis bearable in my mind to suffer
The pangs and temptations of outrageous food
Or take pills against a sea of hunger
And by taking them, end them. To eat, then sleep;
Then no more; and by stuffing ourselves to say we end
The stomach-ache and the thousand grumblings
That flesh is heir to, tis a stuffing
To be wished. To eat, to sleep
To sleep: perchance to crap: ay there’s the grub;
For in that sleep of constipation what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal hunger,
Must give us restroom pause: there’s the respect
That makes calamity of so long a crap;
For who would bear the diets and pills of time,
McDonald’s wrong, the skinny model’s contumely,
The pangs of despised hunger, the poop’s delay,
The flatulence in office, and the spurns
The satisfied merit of the unworthy takes
When he himself might his journey
Make with a bare bottom? Who would farts bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary burden.

Oh! I know one sentence in French! Je ne parle pas francias! All you'll ever need: It means "I don't speak french"

Did it work? Anyone? Anyone know the effects? It did not work, and the United States sank deeper into the Great Depression. Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before? The Laffer Curve.
Thanks for your contribution, Cyntrox.

Aha, but you are speaking french!!!. By saying "Je ne parle pas francias", you are saying you do not speak french.. IN french. If I were a french person and you said that to me I would be thouroughly confused!!!
Now, my french speaking ability is almost as good as yours Cyntrox, but surely a slightly better phrase would be something along the lines of " Je parle un petit francais " in other words, I speak a little french ( I have no Idea if that statement is correctly written/said, It has been...10 years since I did french at school , but you get the gist ) .
By the way, I am not doing this to be a shit, I'm just joking around. I've had too much coffee and waay too much sugar and watermelon today
Watermelon make you wee....

Ok, I feel dumb right now but what is a "Chav"? I keep seeing it pop up around here now but I don't get it...

Chavs are guys in the U.K. that make fun of and beat up goths. They dress like some of the ghetto kings here in the U.S.
Mostly white guys wearing running suits, sweat suits and tennis shoes and baseball caps.
If you search for Chav on YouTube you will find some representatives. Horrible...representatives.
Anyone else on Gnet care to elaborate? Did I get it right?

Yeah, HP basically got it right. Good thing when I was London I never ran into any. You gotta find a darker area of London, not in the light where all the conforming-wannabes live.

Darling, I hate to do this but I gotta differ with you on him. I actually like Shakespeare. He hightlighted a lot of problems during the Reinessance period, such as the mistreatment toward women in the comedy "The Taming of The Shrew"-contray the false assumptions it was anti-woman. Anyway, we'll never know what he wrote and what he didn't, though I think we embrace the knowledge that is given of him and wait for further evidence of him not being responisble for his plays

I've just discovered that I've been walking in high heels and platforms for so long...
I don't quite know how to walk in flats.

It is sad when one must go back to school because one choses so. *sigh* Can't they have a set of classes where you can drop by when you feel like it?
