Hi, I guess.

Since I'm not creative when it comes to introductions, I've snagged the questions.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
A lot of stuff. I jog long distances, read, write, read some more, video games, read, write, and screw around on the computer.

2. Where are you from?
The U.S. I hate it here.

3. Who is your favorite author?
I oculd never choose, are you kidding?

4. What are your favorite films?
I just recently saw Disturbia, it was okay..

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I want to walk into my wedding with Greensleeves playing, that's all I know.

6. At your funeral?
I dunno.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Probably as a martyr.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
I'd want to be cremated.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I dont know. What kind of question is that?

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Naptime and being able to get away with everything.

11. What's your favorite band?
It changes daily.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm heading into 9th grade next year (woo! high school!). I want to be a linguistics major.

13. Why did you join?
'cause I was searching something on Google (can't remember what now) and found this place and decided it looked nifty enough for me to stick around.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I've got female parts.

You're the incredibly well-liked Bloopie I keep reading about.
You're quite the pleasant one. Fuck off.

Not for nothing, dude - but she's a kid. She's in 8th grade.

I believe you've mentioned that you're an adult. The words "If you are hot" really shouldn't be a part of your critique, in my opinion.

As for you Fate - you say you hate it here in the U.S. What makes you say that?

I've never actually been out of the country, in all honesty. But I suppose it's because I feel our whole government is slightly hypocritical and rather obnoxious.

Plus, I've got an insane case of wanderlust. I want to travel.

The government does not define what this country is. The "government" is a transient entity, the humans inside it continually replaced. And please be clear about whom or what you're speaking for I assume you're talking about George Bush.

I'm not quite sre how that relates to hating the country you live in.

I'm not quite sure how that relates to hating the country you live in.
I apologize-- I phrased that incorrectly.
I would have to say I dislike our American nature. I'm a patriotic person, but to me (some!) Americans come off as feeling they think themselves superior to the rest of the world.

And the wanderlust kind of influences my feelings on the matter.

No apology needed. I was just confused with the way you presented your statements.

Anyway - welcome.

You're awfully dodgey about those questions.

My guess as to why you hate America is because it's the cool thing to do. You find our government hypocritical is about as lame and vague an answer as you can give.

Of course, they are, but as e_e said, that's transient.
We're growing up in a time where we have a shameful government, I agree, but I still think you don't really know what you're talking about.

Prove to me you know your stuff, and I will give you your respect.

And actually answer the questions.

Bloopie, you're going to turn this into a politically motivated bitchfest rather than flaming a new member, which, I assume, was your original intent. I'm not going to try to dissuade you from being a verbose dick, but at least delimit your rants properly.

Ignore it, maybe? She's fucking thirteen. Do you remember yourself at thirteen? Even money says you were equally ill informed as to how the adult world functions.

I will agree with you on one count, however; people on this forum are fucking vicious to newcomers. There's an obvious and unsettling trend of holding others to higher standards than one holds themselves. I do it, myself, at times. That doesn't make right, though.

No, you just make up false personas on a message board.

I get the vague feeling that your thread has been hijacked Fate...

Anyway I'm going to ignore all of the bitching above and say hi and welcome to G.net.

I'm an anarchist. You have a problem with that?

That's more like it. I know it's impossible for anarchy to exist and sustain itself without going under because of people's greed and stupidity, but it still is the best form of (non)government.
I call myself an anarchist because it contains the ideals I desire in a society; not because I believe it can be accomplished, nor because I think it's cool to say 'fuck the system lolz'.
It's just like a perfect pendulum. It cannot exist, but a pendulum is better if it approaches the idea of a perfect pendulum.
In practical purposes, I strive for minarchy.

You're in 8th grade. To me (and I may most certainly be dead on about this), that means most of your opinions (especially in the field of politics and other "adult-matters") will have absolutely no merrit.

I'm not going to welcome you just yet until I see how well I like you.

And by the way, the answer to #7= FAIL. Please try again.

Oh, come on. Not even YOU should be capable of such a generalization! I'll not hijack this thread, so I'll leave it at what Jillian said.

Welcome Fate. The majority of the members here are nice, rude bloopie is a troll that has plagued us since last year. I hope he does not scare away other new members like your self, please feel welcome.

He is trying to scare away enough new members to lower the hit rates of Gnet and put us out of business.

Just go to his profile and then click on "ignore" and you will not have to endure his insults anymore.

I said I'd stop joining in with the bitch fights but you're seriously going to be that mean to a new member?

If you ask me (please don't say you didn't - I know and I don't care.) Humane summed it up perfectly - especially the little note about the ignore button.

I'm going to get majorly trashed by certain people - ahem - for putting up this comment but you know what? Bring it on.

Lol what an intelligent comment that was, yet again. Meaningless, sad excuses for insults about grammar? I think he's getting desperate Tara, that's just sad. He's run out of comebacks and is resorting to comments about not understanding your words...Lol. Maybe he should take some English classes huh? I ususally stay out of arguements too, but I couldnt resist.
