"God made man in his own image, but what if that included his rage and his spite and his indifference and his cruelty? We're all his children, but God's a bit of a bastard." - Mitchell (character from BBC Television series "Being Human")

Jake will be switching from 2nd shift to 3rd shift, which means that even when I have to work the morning (which I get to do for all my shifts this week) we will be able to see each other

I slept in today, so though it is bedtime I still feel awake.

Last three post spoke (directly or indirectly) about when people were going to sleep.

There's a joke about going to bed to do anything but sleeping that I'm not going to use.

On a different note, the U.S. Senate just passed a bill to upgrade the computers the nation's air traffic controllers use. I know they have some pretty archaic computers right now, so that's good news.

You do realize that V for Vendetta is clearly an fascistic film/comic?

Man, you aren't even a particularly good troll. What a half-assed effort. Go back to troll school and study. Your skillz are weak.

I'm happy to see the original Disney "Alice In Wonderland" is being released in a new two DVD "Un-Anniversary" edition. That's a must buy for me!

Only if he rides. He could just own one to admire it.

I am not well. I've been throwing up since half seven this morning, when I was woken by massive discomfort. But at least the diluted flat cola that I've been slowly sipping has stayed down, which is a start!

...if only I could eat food, or drink something more nutritious...

You could try one of those nutrition shakes old people have if solid food won't stay down. Or a piece of toast or something if it will ..

Woot, I have what I think is the final guest list and it looks like just under 175, which is better than that 200 that I have been estimating and will save me about $1000 in catering, which is nice as my $20,000 was starting to get stretched pretty thin.

Oh my!!! wedding planning always worries me when I hear people talk about it. I'm scared that I'll go berserk. . . I don't think I'll even be able to pick out a color scheme without being distressed. Lets hope that by the time I have to plan for all that, I'll be capable. What colors are you using?

I have two friends planning weddings ( which are a month apart no less ) . I'm just waiting for one of them to turn into Bridezilla. And I have no doubt I'll be the one who ends up having to hold up Natalie's dress while she has a piss every 5 minutes out of nerves....

The only thing I look forward to is picking a dress...that is if I ever have a wedding.
