What's the good word?

I was going to try to be clever and think of some new and interesting way to describe myself, but then I got distracted by shiny things. I'll just stay inside the box on this one.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I'm a full time college student. I work in a wine shop and sample the product more than I should. In my free time I like to read, play computer games and engage in all manner of sinful debauchery. It's alright me for me to do that, however, as I am Catholic and can always fall back on deathbed confessions and/or indulgences.

2. Where are you from?
Albany, the mighty Capital of the EMPIRE state. Three cheers for upstaters, and the devil take NYC!

3. Who is your favorite author?
H.P. Lovecraft.

4. What are your favorite films?
Ravenous, the Indiana Jones series, D.C. Cab (starring, among others, the indomitable Mr. T), The Man Who Would Be King, Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man, The Exorcist, Tombstone and a whole host of others from various genre.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I'm going to live in sin, thank you.

6. At your funeral?
Would it be terribly cliche to respond with Highway To Hell?

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Simple. Easy. I want to be killed in an onrush of some heinous and terrible enemy force, fighting to the last with my saber and revolver. Upon hearing news of my death the Western World shall lionize me and erect a brass statue depicting my demise in Trafalgar Square. No, it doesn't matter that I'm not English. The statue is going in Trafalgar Square.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
I'm not sure there'll be enough left to bury.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My swiss wool jacket, square toe boots, and pinstriped pants.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Innocence. Carefree nature. Playing in the sun. The whole nine.

11. What's your favorite band?
Will I be ostracized if I say Metallica? Did I spell ostracize correctly?

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm almost done with my Bachelor's degree, majoring in History with a European concentration.

13. Why did you join?
To find those who are kindred with my tattered soul; those who long for release from this rancid mortal coil. That, and I was bored one day.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
I'm male. How masculine I actually am is for all of you to decide.

15. How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Fuck you.

Hey, Pinstripes, glad you got around to this. I'm with you on living in sin and Metallica. I take the woodchuck comment personally.

I'm glad you are here. Stick around ... your posts are appreciated!

I for one look forward to what else you might have to say about yourself, and about topics-at-hand. Oh, and we should duel sometime, with sabres.

Oh..... crap. I'm actually not very dextrous. I'd probably end up slicing off my own hands. I'd prefer not to duel to the death, but if we must YOU can feel free to use a sword. I'll just pull a Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

Shiny things!

I have to say, currently I'm being distracted by Ben's latest avatar....

I know I shouldn't but...

I can't ....

take my...

eyes off...

them.

Sorry. It. I meant 'it.'

[shakes head, makes wobbling noise]
