Best/Worst decisions in showbuisiness

I have created this thread in order to highlight some of the best decisions studio executives have ever made, as well as some of the worst decisions studio executives have ever made.

here are two starters
Best:
Lucille Ball deciding not to listen to her studio chiefs when they said they should stop making Mission Impossible, and Star trek.

Worst:
The decision to cut Firefly

PS GAH! TYPO IN THE TITLE!

The absolute worst decision, IMO, was to cast Stuart Townsend in the role of LeStat in "Queen of the Damned", instead of the original casting of Wes Bentley.
Bentley would have looked absolutely AWESOME as a Vampire Rock Star!! Just look at his features as BlackHeart in GHOST RIDER!!!

Best Desicion- Making Terminater Salvation to make up for Terminater 3 because T3 was a disgrace.

Worst- The Alien VS Predator movie. Those were horrible. The first one I give 3/5 stars the seconds one, not even worth watching. It should be burned then thrown into an erupting volcano for the devil to torture. -twitch-
