I agree. Black hair actually looks natural on you.

Lots of people thought my hair was bleached when I had it blond while loads of people think that black could be my natural color.

Judging by your coloration I would have though that your natural hair color would have been quite dark, the black didn't seem out of place at all

Yeah, I know. Once, when my roots were grown out quite long, I had someone come up to me and ask if I had bleached them that way, and he knew me when I had it blond, and had a harder time stomaching the fact that my natural color was blond even with platinum roots grown out an inch than he had believing the black hair.
