I'm curious as to who you think throws the best parties.. I can't think of anything that beats parties with my pagan friends.

Some do, but others get mad when you bring non-vegan brownies and don't stick a label on them saying that they aren't vegan.

That's just hippies.
It's a common overlap, but most of the pagans I've met tend to not have any dietary preferences.
They do however, smell just as bad.

The parties I've been to tend to include big fires and lots of booze.

That may or may not depend on the booze levels

If it's less clothing you're after you should go to the Beltane festival in Edinburgh one year. Lot's of nekkidness there I hear. I may go one year myself, to see how the Scots do it!

Ah yes. That big bonfire thing is this Friday, isn't it?
Always did love big fires. Big part of why I became a boyscout. And this year my eldest sons scoutoutfit is making their very first bonfire. Almost enough to bring a tear to my eye, that is.

But no booze. Thats for the young.

I get huge fires and booze for my birthday.. ah, the perks of being born on Beltaine.

Soli, my pagan friends have always been very careful to label things.. they even make sure dishes with garlic are labeled, so I don't have to ask.

Ape, there's a lot of overlap with the LGBT and pagan communities, and pagan parties have booze, fire, naked people, AND drum circles in the living room. Can't possibly get any better than that.

Hahaha, a pagan I know obligated to eat as much meat as she can so she can communicate with nature. Years ago she also tried to bring me out of a panic attack by attempting to lead me into a meditation where I was supposed to pretend I was a tree or a flower.

Depends on ones tastes, I would say. I much rather have a dungeon nearby than a drum circle, but thats just me.

Yeah, never really got that shit.
There's this old dude called Kev',old skinny guy, has a huge A tattooed on his back and claims to worship the devil.
He comes up to my mate Lee and goes off on how he shouldn't be scared of him because he worships the devil.
He seemed proper disappointed when no one admitted to being scared of him.

Yep.
It was a costume party - I went as Delirium, and she decided to throw a Death costume together last minute.

It's about respect, not necessarily worship.
And most of those rituals are illegal; not that some have not been practiced in my prescence. My house has been smudged. The rest is none of your business.
