You forgot to add the option of "who the fuck cares if a talentless hack killed himself or got shot by his even less talented wife". But, that is a little wordy

And maybe you will learn how to spell AND read in my lifetime..

And if by devil "club house" you mean the little fort you make under your bed covers at night so you can play Pirate with Mr. Winky, then I think Kurt's corpse would be oh so proud of his far-reaching glandular influence from beyond the grave.

Long Live Rock N Roll !

Heahahahahaaa!

HEY!

Here's the realydealy ala pirate psy...

Courtney offered El Duce of The Mentors 10Gs to do the job...
Which he pondered thoughtfully and then declined.
Soon enough the infamous El Duce mysteriously ends up drugged and run over by a train.
His murder was concocted to look like a suicide!

He knew too much.

Gimme a sombrero and a carona... cuz that be shade!

Sound familiar?

I suppose talent is relative, and certainly subject to opinion.

But in my experience, those who knock down or refuse to acknowledge anothers accomplishments are usually 1)jealous 2)inadequate 3)failed. This is fairly universal.

Before anyone gets all bitchy about it, I'm NOT calling anyone any of the above. People sometimes say things they don't exactly mean, I've even called people "talentless" when I possibly shouldn't have. Andy Warhol comes to mind. So yeah, I see Warhols work, and I am jealous that I can't possibly get a commission comparable to his.

But I still can't discount the impact and significance of Warhols work.

I can't stand Kurt Cobain as a person. But when you are dealing with extremely talented individuals, you have to seperate the person from the artist, because they really are two different people.

Most people really can't stand me, but they like my work. Or they hate my work, but like me as a person. I think its fairly rare for me to encounter someone that appreciates both. But i've never been called a talentless hack.

Someone so brilliant as Kurt Cobain really makes my body of work virtually worthless and pointless. So I really, REALLY have to wonder what the fuck Comapriest is thinking here.

i dont think he killed him self. he had to much harroin in is system to lift a shot gun and pull the trigger and know what he was doing. I think that cortney put the gun in his hand and then stuck the barrel in his mouth. Then she pulled the trigger, so it would look like he had killed him self.

It seems like mainstream rock bands either turn to suckiness or die early... so I don't find it that depressing when I think about his death, even though I like a few of his songs... even though most of the songs I like are David Bowie remakes... David Bowie was better...

Blogging -- the next great investigative tool

I think we could save beaucoup bucks on taxes by eliminating coroners, deputies, and ohter investigators. From now on all serious investigations should be conducted by blogging polls like this one.

Hehe... No no, I didn't mean you, Maelstrom!

I don't really subscribe to the Courtney theory. She's batty, but I don't think she'd have her boyfriend killed like that. The guy was a punk genius and highly sensitive, drug problems, but a real artist. How many guys of that particular temper often end up killing themselves? Mmm...

He blasted himself. You aren't even old enough to listen to Nirvana, anyways.

Kurt Cobain? I hardly noticed him while he was alive. Nothing about the band stood out. Kurt couldn't sing, in my opinion, and the guitar was mediocre.

The assassination of John Lennon is more of interest than the "slaying" of Kurt Cobain... And I can't stand the Beatles.

Is it sad a human lost his life? Yes, but if he killed himself, it's his own damn fault.

Sorry Kali, but that's a totally moronic statement. "Couldn't sing"? With the amount of raw emotion his voice carried, and the fact that Nirvana was a punk band - in spirit at least - makes technical singing ability rather irrelevant. And the guitar you call "mediocre"? Guess what, Nirvana wasn't no metal-band. Had there been gratuitous guitar-wanking solos and pristine banshee wails all over their songs, it would sound like utter shite.

You have to listen to the music in the context it was created, not expect it to conform to what you think punk/grunge/whatever is supposed to sound like.

And if you "hardly noticed" Nirvana while they were active, it's probably 'cause you were like 6 years old.
