They wouldn't be breaking any laws, unless she were hired to work in a hazardous environment or she was working full time (I assumed she was looking for a part time job as she is still in school)

That's not true.
There are definitely limits on age for working.

Yeah there are a lot of restrictions on people under the age of fifteen but for those who are fifteen to sixteen there are much fewer restrictions. The only restrictions for a fifteen year old is that they cannot work more then eighteen hours during a week when they have school (they can however work up to forty on a non-school week, so you can load up on hours during breaks), they cannot work before 7am or after 7pm on a school day, cannot work after 9pm on a non-school day, and they cannot work a job that is considered hazardous.

I just found out that the battery on my laptop lasts for approximately two hours with multiple applications running.

Mine only lasts 1 hour if you watch a film in fullscreen so often you can't actually finish the movie.

Mine runs for maybe an hour if I'm lucky, even on battery save mode. I just keep it plugged in all the time.

Keeping it plugged in all the time might be the problem (unless your battery only lasted for an hour even when it was new). It's bad for the battery to keep it plugged in for long periods of time. I always take my battery out if it's neither charging nor powering my comp.

Okay, so I went back to a forum I used to frequent and so far:

I posted a pic of myself in the pic thread and now a bunch of guys are going on about how hot I am. Wha...?

Discovered that the majority of the members are rabid Twilight fans. Holy shit.

After posting a list of punk bands to someone who said Avril was punk, been told by another member "figuratively, I could argue that some of those bands weren't punk"
"then go ahead"
"I said figuratively. Arguing what punk really is is fail."
Then told by the person that said Avril was punk "I don't really think she's punk that's ridiculous. i meant like nowadays punk not good ol stuff. and i won't go listen to the bands you mentioned i don't like punk"
Lol...what?

I just found a stack of old CDs I had to make a few years ago before I deleted all of the files off of my computer. It is SO GREAT to hear some of these songs again.

I"m in my Effective Speaking class right now. I'm going to try my darndest to become a better public speaker. I'm just a wee bit nervous about having to do presentations almost every week in class.

I seem to be a happy homemaker today, so far I have done two loads of laundry, bunches of dishes, some cleaning around the living room, and I baked some biscuits.

I'm having to endure a nasty headache because there aren't any paracetamols in the house
and I'm beginning to think drinking it off is a sensible option.

I had such a bad dream!
I was with my ex-bf in some kind of college that was his house too, and there were horrible rats everywhere!
That was so disgusting...
