One of my friends came to me to talk about them wanting to commit suicide just because they knew I wouldn't rat on them, blink, or say "oooohh, nnoooooo! Don't do it! You have so much to live for!". After about and hour and a half, they didn't want to do it because I asked really uncomfortable questions and said that if they truly feel that way that they should do it. (They haven't) Random suicide threats on the internet? Yeah, trolling for attention. When I was feeling red, I didn't talk to anyone about it. Why would I have talked to a person who wouldn't understand what I was feeling in the first place? Even monkeys and apes get depressed. It's a social behaviour in the wild to keep a monkey from trying constantly to become the alpha male or gaining something they didn't have. They become depressed for a while, and sink into their rightful place in the group, and life goes on. They certainly don't stay that way forever. When I was depressed (I mean it in the proper context. Not just feeling sad), no one that knew me, knew what was going on. They found out when the police intervened and had me commited(don't ask). I hid it. Most people who hid it don't troll the internet looking for someone they haven't even met face-to-face to tell them that they're special, or they have something to live for.
If I really wanted to die, I would have done it right in '94 instead of fucking up so many times. Mind you I have do not resusitate and no life-support in my will. I won't give those tomatoes another slave. Fuck Tomatoes!

Dieing is just now worth it. I may fall into my cube of doom once in a blue moon, but seriously that's the fun of life. If we countered no problems in life, then it would suck and give more of a reason to live. Our life would only be go to school, work, eat, sleep, party, sex and what not repeated with NO surprises? What how much boring could life get like that. Life is not perfect for a reason for that we would have no reason to live if everything went as planned.

i have much experience with this subject!!

It was the best thing to ever happen to me. Whether I died or didn't (which I didn't) I would've been happy. It was the point in my life that turned it around for me. The surviving. I woulda gotten away with it if it wasn't for that mom, aunt, and that dog of theirs!! GRR!!!

online threats lame!!

In-Person Threats Just as Lame!!

The Trick is to tell no one and just do it!

I mean yeah fight with yourself if you really want to do it and make sure it is what you want. This is a life changing event!

Number One Cause Of Death - Life.

Does the concept of Eternal Recurrence render suicide futile?

maybe so! I have this outlook for a story about something half like eternal reccurrence but when you do something impulsive is you changing something in your life for better.

Let's say last time in my life I succeeded in the suicide, but this time when I attempted my subconscious said, "NO!" So I black out, next thing I know I am at the toilet, I vomit, passout. Mom thinks its odd I am in the restroom so long finds me, sis in law calls the ambulance i survive. Last time I died, this time I survived.

Or when I suddenly wanted to go to barnes and noble on new years day with my friend wayne who was circling the suicidal drain, but at barnes and noble that night he found a girlfriend and feels better about himself! yay! Last time he died!

What if our individual memories are a product of collective unconsciousness used as a mechanism to enable us to perceive and interpret the world around us?

See this is exactly what I was talking about in another thread, and everyone thought I was stupid for having those ideas.

Is collective unconscious plausible?

...it's as unbelievable as anything else that isn't visible or right there in front of us to consider as true...so why not, it could indeed be possible.

I think so. I hope so. The mythical consciousness that is created out of everyone's subconscious and consciousness I hope would be god. To keep scientific and religeous theories of mine in check, that personality without a body would be god. The Earth would be his prison. All humans die, god dies. There's actually a way that humans could be linked like that. The Schumann resonace.

I think the wavelengths that a human brain runs on is within that Extremely Low Frequency band (ELF)that this resonance falls under. I also remember that this layer of air could be used to transmit power, and information exactly like the internet. Except everywhere on the Earth. Without cables or cords.

When Mikey said "Thou art God." Stranger in a Strange Land
I believe he's right.
