I love Harry potter...well the movies anyway. The books have alot to be desired where it comes to some of the plot...but the movies are awseome with all the special effects and Draco Malfoy...that boy is hot

The book is aggrivating and far to predictable, I guessed from the end of book 4 that Snape was on the darkside..and guess what...I WAS RIGHT. Eh

They are agravating in the way the charecters are always so stupid, in the 6th book when Harry is trying to fight off the Inferia...HE FORGETS FIRE. He was told to use fire what, 5 minutes before? It's just stupid things like that which are scattered through the book...

*gag* If you're talking about the guy that plays Ron you should be shot in the face.

Personally, since I first read the first and second books all those years ago, I've been unable to understand the rampant fascination with the series. It's relatively unique. I'll give it that, but as far as actualizing the concept into a decent brand of literature, I'm going to say outright that anything that doesn't surpass what I myself can spill out onto my computer screen isn't worth my time.

Sorry to those that enjoy the books, but I felt my opinion as valid as any other.

I have never been a fan of Harry Potter and cannot relate to the numerous people of all ages who read the series and watch the movies. Similarly, I find the popular book "Da Vinci Code" to only be relatively ok.

I have yet to read the Da Vinci Code, though I've heard nothing but good things. Hopefully I'll disagree with the two of and enjoy it, rather than pointlessly subjecting myself to yet another sub-par piece of literary blah.

My only encounter with anything related to Harry Potter would be when my little brother made me watch one of the movies with him on DVD. Dubbed in Icelandic. The cheesyness almost made me cry.

All I know now, is that if it's got anything to do with that Potter guy, I'll be running away from it as fast as I can.

As for the Da Vinci Code, by the way... I read it for school. The teacher gave us a choice between a few books and I picked the Da Vinci Code. Fucking hell how I wanted to throw that piece of crap out the window.

I didn't actually look for a bad picture; I looked for a recent picture.

No no no, you're all supposed to like Snape the best, because I look like Snape, and I said so.

...yes, I am a Harry Potter fan, but I'm sure given my numerous mentions of Snape, you've figured that out already.

I like the actor who plays Snape, for whatever that's worth.

I did not like the first couple movies though my son adores them - I missed the third one altogether - took the boy to see the new one and I liked it and he kept asking if we could go home. Go figure.

it's purely for archival purposes - consider it an off-site backup.

That's amusing. Goth Harry Potter. Anyways, I enjoy the books and the movies. Some of the actors in the movies are very sexy. XD I won't tell you which ones though. And I think that I read more fanfiction then I do the actual books. Sad, isn't it?
