I Love it When....

ok, so here's an idea: what are some of the average, ordinary, everyday things that happen that just put a smile on your face? things that get you through the day, or make your week, or that are really cool to probably no one else but you?

i'm not talking about things like, "i love it when he touches me there" or "i love it when she does that thing with her tongue". we uh already have a thread for that, i think.


they can be mundane things that please you. for instance:

i love it when i have the exact amount of quarters to do ALL of my laundry at once. that way i don't have to choose what really needs to be washed, then have piles of clothes lying around until payday.

i love it when all of the traffic lights on my route are green.

i love it when i pick the fastest-moving lane at the bank drive-thru.


they can be snarky things like:

i love it when people try to pin labels on me that they really should be pinning on themselves.

i love it when i toss an insult or quip at someone that leaves him/her speechless.


or they can even be somewhat personal or mildly sappy:

i love it when i stop in my kids' room on my way up to bed and, even though they've been asleep for hours, they smile a sweet little sleepy smile when i kiss them on the cheek & tell them "good night".

i love it when urian brings me home a soda without asking, just because he knows i probably want one.



there's tons more, but i think that's a pretty good start for now.


so what are the silly, run-of-the-mill, or just plain.... well, plain things that, even though they probably make you feel like a dork for doing so, you still love anyway?

I love it when I finish writing a story, proofread it and it impresses me because that almost never happens.

I lvoe it when I finish writing a story, let friends who've known me for years read it, and they ask if that really happened.

I love it when I go a day without a huge seizure.

I love it when my heart takes over where my mind leaves off, my pride shuts the hell up and I can let my guard down long enough to let the people in my life know how i feel about them.

I love it when I look at otfw in bed(either in the morning or at night) and she's so damned sexy I cant help but say thanks to the powers that be.
