Metallica were never famous for their vocals, they were famous for... well, I don't really know why they're famous, they just sort of are. Corey Taylor (slipknot) can actually sing quite well. If you look up Stoned Sour he sings more cleanly there and does have a rather nice voice (in my opinion, of course).

Metallica was brilliant back in the day, it was only after ....And Justice For All that they started sucking.
Slipknot is just garbage, I will admit he does have a decent voice, but the rest of the band is just terrible, their guitarist is one of the worst I've ever heard. I also hate how everyone thinks their drummer is the "best metal drummer", you only need to listen to Hellhammer once to realize he blows Slipknot's drummer out of the fucking water, and I could name several others that Slipknot's doesn't even come close to.

Their guitarists aren't bad, I just think you don't like what they're playing. As for Joey, he's a fine drummer, certainly not the best in the world, but a fine drummer. His solos absolutely suck though. The main problem with Joey is that he doesn't have the sound thing down. He can play fast as lightning, but his rhythm isn't as steady. I like Lamb of God's drummer.

I dislike most of these bands already mentioned, but I will add that I absolutely detest Carl McCoy's voice, which ruins for me the nice music played by the Fields of the Nephilim.

Anything put out by Disney. For example, Miley Cyrus/Hannnah Montana(I seriously frieckin HATE that girl and her music), the jonas brothers, high school musical etc.
And Fallout boy i just dont have the energy to stand them any longer.
Limp Bizkit i cant stand either.
Manufactured pop and rap that has nothing better to talk about rather than genitalia resembling lollipops.
Other than that i dont really mind anything that has a full set of instruments when on stage.
Oh and definitely Avril Lavigne because i am so tired of people looking at me and comparing my eyeliner to hers. She is not punk shes just a dumb little whore.

I like Avril. I think she's pretty and sweet.
And she's married.
So I wouldn't understand the whore bit.
But yeah, she isn't 'punk'.
Yet, that seems to be a label that was just stuck on her.
So I don't blame her.
But I agree with the Disney.
Except Hilary.
I have her first CD and have had it since I was like in 4th grade.
Sometimes I still listen, not recently, but sometimes.
AND
I HATE LIL John, WAYNE whatever the hell.
That song is overplayed and stupid.

True, Flo is awesome. The new Cryptopsy shit sucks though, they turned into a shitty deathcore band. George Kollias from Nile is an awesome drummer; so is Tomas Haake from Meshuggah.
