Intro - Foxtrot

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)

No job. I'm a student, still in high school. As for hobbies, I'm a Boy Scout, about 6 months off of Eagle. I do all of the generic couch potato things like watching TV. I don't play video games that often; I prefer to read a good novel or look things up on the computer. Really, I do whatever I feel like at the time. I'm interested in a bit of everything. Arms and Armor, History, Philosophy, and Nature have been subjects of constant interest throughout my life. Anything zombie related usually suffices.

2. Where are you from?

North Carolina.

3. Who is your favorite author?

I don't have a favorite author, but mutiples. Ayn Rann, George Orwell, Orson Scott Card, J.K. Rowling, and Kurt Vonnegut, just to name a few. Some of my favorite books are the Harry Potter series, Anthem, Animal Farm, 1984, Slow Walk in a Sad Rain, M*A*S*H, Catch-22, and many others. I love to read almost any genre.

4. What are your favorite films?

Red Dawn, The Lakehouse, 12 Angry Men, etc.. I like a bit of everything. I don't watch movies that often, and when I do, it's usually a bit of lowball comedy or action that I don't need to think about.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I don't know. It'll depend on what whomever I marry wants played. As long as it's not hip-hop or gangsta-rap.

6. At your funeral?
Again, I haven't thought that far ahead. Probably something sarcastic celebrating my death.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Painlessly, preferably in my sleep. If it has to go violent, I want to be shot in the head, one shot kill. It must be painless.

8. What kind of casket would you want?

Simple and utilitarian. I don't care what I'm buried in, I'll be dead, so it doesn't matter to me.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?

Black Jeans and a black t-shirt, with an unbuttoned, black dress shirt over the t-shirt. Not to say I wear nothing but black, and I don't like black because "it's the color of my soul". I just like the color.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?

The ignorant innocence.

11. What's your favorite band?

I have several. My favorite artist is Voltaire. I like the bands Paramore, Disturbed, and Three Dors Down. I also like Journey, Queen, Ac/Dc, Billy Joel, Billy Idol, Johnny Cash, and Eminem, to name a few.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?

Junior in High School. Right now, my major will be Psychology.

13. Why did you join?

I'm interested in learning more about the gothic community and in becoming a part of it.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?

Male

Sorry to cut it short, but Latin is over and I must go. I'll try to answer the questions more throughly later.

Whiskey Foxtrot Delta Tango, over!

Well, your handle just inspired me to spout that nonsense ... there's no accounting ... LOL!

Anyway, I expect Eagle Scouts to be able to spell dor, but I'm sure that's a typo (unless there actually is a band named "3 Dors Down".) Good general field of interests; everybody wants to keep the guy who knows how to deal with zombies around! ;-}

I spend a week on the North Carolina seaside every other summer and always contemplate a someday retirement home in the Carolinas. How's the winter treat you there?

Anybody who reads Vonnegut and Card, as well as putting 12 Angry Men on his favorite movies list, has my attention and interest.

Welcome to this place. I look forward to your contributions.

Thank you. I didn't have time to spell check, so I didn't see my mis-spelling of "Door". As for the winter, it's pretty mild - Gets down into the 30's as lows regularly, sometimes into the 20's and teens. Not a lot of snow, though we're due this winter.

I forgot to add a few things.. I'm into amateur photography, but I have yet to take a black and white picture of a lawn chair.

Please, don't. I liked pinhole photography when I was a kid. But point - click doesn't make much sense to me as an art form for the most part.

Lol, it was mostly a reference to that family guy episode, and mocking the people who think using black and white film makes them an awsome photographer. I don't do it as a form of artistic expression. Most of my photogrpahs are landscapes that serve my appreciation of nature.

If you are speaking of https://www.gothic.net/boards/member.php?u=36175, I've seen some of her posts. I doubt I'll hate her; I don't really hate anything. from the little of her posts that I've seen, it seems she made a bad entrance and hasn't managed to recover, or hasn't given you guys much, if any, reason to forgive her.

Where can I find an itemized list of the board rules and policies?

All you need to know is that there appear to be no Mods, Rockers or Admins and I am fantastic.

Thing is I'm not looking for them to forgive me for anything. I'm awesome.

Welcome to the boards by the way. ^_^

I don't want to hear the truth, I'm too busy getting pregnant, having my baby daddy leave me, having a buttload of children and ending up on welfare.

If they put me back on night shift at work (boring as hell) I'm going to build a distillery in the office.

No, I couldn't. I hate my job though, so that's ok.

I worked in an iron ore foundry once where the entire crew I worked with went across the street to a bar every day and got hammered at lunch, then went back to work and finished the shift. Nobody ever complained, and it did make a fucks-sake-boring job go by a little easier. Good thing the money was worth it ... and the liquid lunches!
