I've always liked richmond from the IT crowd myself he cracks me up I love the whole show but he in particular cracks me up, I'm a big cradle of filth fan so that episode where he shows up at dehnems dads funeral and offers his mom a mix cd of COF and tells her coffin fodder is a beautiful song makes me fall off the couch everytime

Are you referring to the episode entitled 'The Ungroundable'?

It can be viewed at the link provided, and seems rather apropos considering the judicious amount of anti-Twilight animosity that has been floating around this community. The plot pits the Goth Kids against the influx of faux-vampires at the South Park Elementary School. Of course, these so-called vampires are the shallow offspring of Hot Topic and Stephanie Meyer's books.

Enjoy ... per se.

That's an amazing episode. And so hilarously true, too.

Um...Abby Scuito from NCIS, Morticia and Wednesday Addams...would you consider Lily Munster gothic? Also, I thought the "goth toughie" from Mean Girls was cool when my mum dragged me to the movie gallery to rent it.

Just the stuff that's probably been mentioned already.

The goths from SNL's "Goth Talk" skits.

I love those skits. Especially when you see what Chris Kattan's character used to look like before becoming goth.

A friend of mine suggested that I try watching a few episodes of the short-lived television show Moonlight. I recall that in the first installment, 'There's No Such Thing as Vampires', that there was a college professor who taught a class about vampirism and many of his students were decked out in typical goth attire. They appeared in the classroom, at an after-hours class ritual, and at the funeral of a classmate; how apropos.

What to you mean? Howard was way darker. He took his clothes off and shat on a tombstone, a swan and Hitler. Don't ever forget that.
I loved that episode, and the goth girls.

Oh, I don't have a favourite, but the worst one I have ever seen is the "goth" in a really lame "horror'' movie canned "Hangman's Curse" (Don't ever watch it). He was called Ian Snider, and he was an angsty epic loser. At the end of the movie, he turned "normal" and it was supposed to be really awesome.

"Yes, but it's not an actual cradle of filth is it?"

"Oh gosh no, that would be horrible!"

BeetleJuice was one of my favourite movies/shows when I was a kid & Lydia was fantastic.

Besides those comments I can't actually think of anything else to throw in.

Thanks to this thread I've discovered and forced Richmond from the IT Crowd upon unsuspecting friends. Oh Noel Fielding, I have a big boycrush on you.

Aanyway, we're forgetting Clive from Gypsy 83.

Abby from NCIS. She brings something special to the show. If she left or was killed off it would make the show a bit less enjoyable.

I didn't think the Marla character was supposed to be goth. Just more sort of a social misfit.
