Hello!

My name is Michelle...

What do you do?

I like to play music (guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, violin, cello, piano, and ::giggle:: recorder), play around with makeup/hair, shop (thrift stores whoo!), sleep (who doesn't?), and lots of other neato stuffs. I work as a cashier for a leather shop (jackets, wallets, shoes, etc.) called AB Leather. I used to work @ Hallmark (the card shop).
+++++++
Where are you from?

I'm from Long Beach, California but currently live in Colorado.
+++++++
Favourite author?

My favorite author is Stephen King (cliché much?) or Dean Koontz. Can't possibly choose.
+++++++
Favourite films?

The Nightmare Before Christmas, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (The original), all of the Harry Potter movies, all of the Lord of the Rings movies, All About the Benjamins, Psycho, Boat Trip, James & the Giant Peach, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Misery, Dolores Claiborne, technically anything by Stephen King or Tim Burton, lots more.
+++++++
Song to be played @ your wedding and your funeral?

*I don't exactly plan on getting married, but if I was, I'm not too sure what I would have played. Hmm...
*Anything by H.I.M. or Slipknot (favourite band), Rot For Me by Wednesday 13
+++++++
How do you want to die?

It must be dark, and goth, so... I want to die laying in a pool of crimson regret spilling from my heart.
+++++++
What will your casket look like?

A spiffy one. It'll be a KISS Koffin. (I heart KISS)
+++++++
What's your favourite outfit?

I have this gorgeous skirt that's gray with lace over it (it looks like a skirt from Hot Topic but I basically took the idea and made it my own with my own colors and different lace) I could post a picture of the Hot Topic skirt if any of you gentle/men/women/others would like me to.
+++++++
Thing you miss most about being a child?

Being able to sleep all the time and going to the zoo (even though I'm still doing that).
+++++++
Favourite band?

Slipknot is my all-time favourite band but I love everything. From Frank Sinatra to Cradle of Filth, then back to Celen Dion to Black Sabbath. And more.
+++++++
Why did you join?

Because everyone here seems so nice, and hilarious I may add (XD), and I could offer some pearls of wisdom from time to time (rarely, but I may be of assistance).
+++++++
Gender?

I'm a female. Very much a female.

Oh, gods!
Your introduction was great, but you pushed all my wrong buttons.

Die a "goth" death?
No such thing.

Hot Topic?
Absolutely hate it, and Calvin Klein is a lot more gothic than "Hawt Topic"

Slipknot?
Whatever makes your pants tingle, but I hope you don't consider yourself a goth.

Let me rephrase my "goth" death statement.

It shall be an *emo* death.

Oh & I've been playing the cello for two years, the violin three, and guitar and bass for about 6 years. I don't play piano that often.

And I'm not "gothic" nor do I consider myself to be it.
I'm just me.

Sure, it's called suicide. Which none of us succeed at anyway...

I read the "it must be dark, and goth", as tongue-in-cheek.

I kinda like her. *puts Silky_Shimmer in pocket*

This is the part that I liked. You play so many instuments! You should be a band... or an orchestra... (yes, BE, not BE IN! :P)

And leather... yeah...

This was the part that I disliked, but hey, it's just music! And besides, taste will grow with age...

Just kidding.

Welcome Silky. Stick 'round.

So why post on a goth website when you are not?

Anyways dont mean to be rude, but isnt there another site that would better cater to your 'posting disires'?.

You seem sweet. Welcome, Silky.

And as X said, you don't have to be gothic to post on this site, you just have to enjoy literature and the topics being discussed.

welcome! Both the cello and violin are lovely, haunting instruments that move my spirit.

You don't have to wear a "goth" label to be ok in my book. slipknot = yuck for me, but I'm quite grateful that the world isn't comprised of a zillion ennuis. Ugh, how dull.

Glad to have you. Keep on being "just me".

Ah...

Weren't you listening to Duality a few days ago, Jillian?

Of course, there's a big difference between listening to a song and calling Slipknot your favorite band, but...

Anyway, welcome to the boards. You seem quite interesting.

I thought I had already given you 20 goth points for that. Can't we forget that incident? >.<
