Gads, I'm really bad at this...

I really hate talking about me. THerefore, I copy-pasted the questions, which I'll answer and go from there...

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I work as a Med Bill Specialist right now to pay the bills, but as for hobbies, I am a musician (jazz sax), I love art, blah

2. Where are you from?
Literally, one of the last places you'd think of for a goth girl; Kentucky

3. Who is your favorite author?
I love the prerequisite Poppy Z. Brite, but my fave is Mark Twain. Intelligent satire is wonderful.

4. What are your favorite films?
I would rather read than watch a movie.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I'm already married, and we used the aria from "Bram Stoker's Dracula"

6. At your funeral?
Medieval chamber music with 6 saxophones...

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Arsenic? Too predictable. Ennui? To predictable. Messily? Nah, someone's gotta clean it up. Malaria? Perhaps...

8. What kind of casket would you want?
No casket. I'm being cremated.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I have a burgandy velvet gown that I adore.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Ignorance

11. What's your favorite band?
Nine Inch Nails, COF, Type O, and Seraphim Shock

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I have a BA in both Sociology and Psychology. I'm currently working on my MA in Soc with an emphasis in human sexuality

13. Why did you join?
I have been "goth" for a LONG time. I want to be around others who understand, unlike my co-workers.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
All girl

Obviously, you are free to share other interesting or pertinant information, but we thought it would be nice to give you some guidelines for the basics.

Welcome, Chylde. Nice intro! Something tells me you'll fit right in here.

I wanna welcome you too! You sound like one of the few people in the world that could actually hold a night-long conversation over brandy and chess and smokey treat of choice. I look forward to more!

Also, how goes the Masters?

You seem cool and an actual Goth unlike numnutz like me

Im with you on the reading instead of watching because lately Hollyweird has been really sucking. The only thing they can do is re-makes and comic books and sequels and really sucky stuff. Im sorry but Robin Williams doing Hip Hop sounds pretty stupid.

However Poesidan adventure was pretty good but couldve been (like 99% of movies today) a bit shorter. The graphics with the ship were flawless and I was dumb founded as it was as real as it gets to me. I've been waiting for the day when they could do this and wow they did it. It was real.

The water as allways will need further work but some more improvements in the movement of the water.

Pretty impressive.

Firstly, I'd like to welcome you.

Secondly, I have to admit that the ignorance of childhood is bliss.

I've been partial to the late night "meaning of life" discussions for a long time...

It goes... I will be teaching again, and that always proves to be an exercise in futility. I always deck out in my strangest outfit and makeup, sit in the back of the room, and wait for the comments to start on the first day of class. Then when they're convinced there's no prof, then I go up and start class. It never fails to thrill me to watch their faces fall.
