I am in the middle of a "Lord of the Rings" extended edition marathon. I just began "The Return of the King".

It's like 11 hours.

I don't know if I can make it...

If I was watching it with you, you'd make it ^_^ my roommate can't watch Return of the King anymore, because whenever Aragorn gives a uplifting speech to the troops, I shout "You can take away mah rights but you'll NAY take away mah freedom!"

I liked the original version of the Chronicles of Narnia. The recent version seemed to have a lot of fighting scenes that went on way too long and I began to lose interest.

You must have watched a different version than I did.

There was only one real fight scene at the end.

Guys - it can be done!
I arranged a birthday party for 20 people last friday. Did rent a kitchen for one evening in a fancy restaurant (never done that before) and prepared tons of mexican food for my friends (never done that before too). Did need 4 hours to prepare all stuff, then after all guests arrived the restaurant waiters helped to roll out my creations.
It´s been a success - now all my friends want me to throw their parties :-)

Should I start my own business - huh?

So why did I state "it can be done" in my first sentence?
`cause a kitchen normally is a place you won´t find me at :-) At least not cooking...

I don't know if it's true, but supposedly Dirtnap is the unseen mod, who patrols but does not post. Again, kinda hard to verify, but Xng and I talked about him a while back, and we've not heard that he quit.

And Woolfie, yes, that thread was horrible. My eyes are still bleeding!

Should I go drinking? I want to go drinking with my best buddy, but unfortunately, she wants me to go to this other girls house. I find this other girl quite annoying. So, my dilemma: Go drinking with a girl I do not like, or, stay and be a responsible girl and study.

Korova, it's not worth your time, but I'll tell you about it if you insist. Just don't blame me if YOUR eyes bleed too! Not to mention your poor aching brain!

It's in Introductions, and it's called Lifes a Bitch.

N00bism at its twitterpatin' ultimate! Sheesh!

I just read through that whole thing, and I was oddly comforted by it. Go figure...

Oooh, I missed the conversation about fonts?

I'm a font addict, too. I'll have to look through mine and find all my favourites again, although as far as simple fonts go, I like Andale Mono, and one called Barbara Hand.

I just wish some of the older members would come back.

I will stay. I will not post as much as I used to until some cool people come back.

Current cool people: you are the reason I am staying. I love you guys!

I also love Gnet.
