I've spent three hours on a line for absolutely nothing (border bureaucracy, ya know) and I'm still fucking happy.
People make me happy. You guys are awesome - the ones that we're already friends for a long time, you know yourselves.

I just put the four year old I take care of to bed.. we had our mandatory Keegan-and-Novi pre-bed snuggle, and she said "Keegan, I love you more too because you're my best friend" and then she fell asleep in my arms.

I'm super excited to be her full-time nanny once I graduate school in December.
Side note: this kid loves punk, especially the Ramones and Choking Victim. I swear, it's like she's a mini-me.....

I am finally starting to actually lose weight.
That means my clothes and my watch are getting too big, but I am in a better physical condition and can actually walk more or less pain-free.

A few days ago I had for my status on facebook "The Human Centipede is on netflix! TEMPTING." Which was followed by a lot of people telling me NO DON'T WATCH IT.

Anyway, a friend of mine just messaged me to tell me that last night she was looking through netflix, saw it, thought to herself "oh Megan said something about that on facebook, lets watch it!"

And now she is afraid that someone will kidnap her and turn her into a human centipede. I feel evil but I can't stop laughing, she's the type of person I can't imagine watching any horror movie.

Yeah, they're just simple, black frames that are kinda square with transitional lenses. Their simplistic design seems to suit me rather well.

I just tried on a pair of pants that I got too fat for quite a while ago.
I prepared for failure, but they slid on easily. If anything, they are a tad too big.
This is truly awesome.

Well done ! Feels good when it happens right? I've had to give quite a few items of clothing to charity shops now as they became too big for me.

What is even more awesome, I have done it without excessive amounts of working out, and I still eat things I like. Yet I shrink.
Got to love it

Social dynamics are interesting: most of my neighbors know I am a hermit crab who mostly stays indoors, but my relatively new neighbor of two weeks two houses down the street pounced on the chance to talk to me when I was out today mowing my lawn with my new lawnmower, starting the conversation as "I have the same mower!". He had been waiting to meet me after already meeting most everyone else but I never presented the opportunity for him until now. Interesting that he is driven to have to know everyone on the street. But we hit it off, he is in IT too so we talked applications, IBM, SANs etc. I have lived here for 10 years and only know six of my neighborhood households. I would rather stay indoors and curl up with a good book by the fireplace.

I had an amusing moment today.

Cashier: Could I get you anything else?

Me: How about your phone number?

Cashier: No.

The reason why it made my day was because she didn't even blink. I don't think she even had time to think about what I said. It was like she knew what I was going to say. I can't help but laugh.

Actually, now that I think about it... I wonder what put her off so much? I know it wasn't stupid like my hygiene... maybe I'm just ugly? Fuck. XD

At first you won't need to. Most people tend to lose a lot at first , often by something as simple as walking more and eating a bit less. I did.

But the more you lose the harder you will have to work.

HAHA! Oh my (wipes tears from laughing so much) thank you for my first laugh out loud today! I never saw this before but it is sooo true!

"Once eye contact is established, she begins to lurch toward you in slow motion, like a zombie in a bad horror movie. "

The figures remind me of Sifl and Ollie!
