I was just looking up "bunnies" on google (don't ask) and then while searching through the pictures, a picture of a bunch of dead and skinned rabbits hanging up in front of a guy with a REALLY big clever. The description said "dead bunnies" my reaction.... o_0 And then this other time I was googling antiseptic(pictures) and then this picture of two men "getting jiggy with it" was in there. *shakes head* What are our search engines coming to?

Seriously, thanks for the avatar. I had been lookg for a deadbirds trailer to do just what you did for me. Once again, thanks.

Oh. You like ants, right? You need to come this way during the summer. One of the towns has a fire ant festival. It's cool(for a small town fair thingy). You and Eyes can come down, hang out, drink beer and we'll compare man-boobs. It'll be fun.

If I hear of any others I'll post them or send you a PM.
Since my sister is 40, I suspect that she's probably not going to find this one all that useful for herself. But her son is troubled by this as well, and this may be very useful to him. I will forward it on to her for my nephew's benefit. Thank you.

This is good information. I forwarded this information on to my sister, along with the parent URL for the main NAMI site. I'm thinking I'll be able to use the first site you listed myself. Thank you very much!

Status Update

Well, my dad, brother and sister attended a meeting at the hospital where they have my mom for observation. And they went into this meeting expecting that they would have to go through the involentary commitment procedure, which no one was looking forward to. But when they got there, they found out that my mom has agreed to voluntary commitment and treatment; she had already signed all the forms. She acknowledged that she needed help. They were able to see her briefly, and my sister was able to tell my mom that we all love her. As my sister put it, this was the best outcome we could have hoped for.

On a not so positive note, the story hit the newspaper in Milwaukee today. So they have to deal with everyone they know possibly reading all the sordid details. I've been living in Texas for nearly 7 years, so it doesn't impact me as much. I read the article online, and it was gut wrenching. I debated posting it here, as I wasn't sure what level of anonymity I wanted to maintain here. But I decided that you have by-and-large proven yourselves to be people of superior quality, so here it is:

Woman accused of attacking husband

Even though that is out there, I am feeling better about things in general today. The good news from the meeting today, coupled with a finely distracting college football championship game last night, have lifted my spirits tremendously.

Thanks again for everyone's kind words. I really do appreciate it.

It's not just you. It makes me want to vomit.

I was not surprised to find that every woman is blonde and tan. Because you can't be beautiful unless you're blonde and tan.

Ouch, I just strained my cornea rolling my eyes too hard.

I was going through my saved documents, and I found a conversation that I had on MSN. It was a debate with an acquaintance, and I saved it because he was being an absolute idiot. It makes me laugh every time I read it.
