DirtyBlonde Says Hey
Since I hate introductions, I figured it's better to get it out of the way. I usually don't know what to say, so I'll just use the standard form.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job) I work as an office assistant at some major supply company that manufactures parts for manufacturing machinery. I work in the engineer dept where I create user manuals. It's pretty tedious & boring, but it's a job. In my spare time I do some gaming & hang out with my husband & 2 cats. I write horror stories in my spare time, and I also do photo manipulation/restoration on occasion.
2. Where are you from? Southern California, born & raised.
3. Who is your favorite author? Poppy Z Brite, Chuck Palahniuk, Laurell K Hamilton
4. What are your favorite films? Fight Club & The 40 Year-Old Virgin
5. What music do you want played at your wedding? I got married last June. We had a renaissance themed wedding & played alot of classical & some comedic singers (on CD)who perform annually at the Ren Faire.
6. At your funeral? "I did it my way" performed by Sid Vicious (not the Sinatra version)
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die? Old in my sleep...or having sex, whichever.
8. What kind of casket would you want? Cherry Wood with Grey Silk lining.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit? Blue jeans and a black Jagermeister T-Shirt.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid? The innocence and without worries.
11. What's your favorite band? Godsmack
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major? I have an A.S. in Multimedia. I don't really plan on further pursuing a degree, but I'd like to take some classes sometime.
13. Why did you join? To talk to some real people, not like those poseurs & schmucks on Myspace.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender? Female

You're going to fit in here quite nice.
I also liked your list of authors.
Welcome.
Maybe you will develop a better taste in music as well.

DirtyBlonde, welcome. I like your avatar. For someone who hates introductions, you did a good job. Always good to meet up with another Hamilton fan.
And thank you for the comment about "real people" vs. MySpace. That's one of the main reasons I come here. You'll find that because this is a gothic LITERATURE website, it draws some very attractive, intelligent people. I can see from this intro that you'll fit in well. I'm looking forward to your contributions.

I don't think she's a 'kid', Xng.
Tenet, I'd believe that.

I think Wolfie wasn't criticising his tone ... she was checing his grammar.
It should have been 'nicely', not "nice".
But I'm not surprised everyone missed that, as we usually don't nit-pick to that degree.

Unless, of course, I just missed the joke? (just saw the smiley in Xng's post) ... Damn!

Yes, it was about the grammar.
It rings in the ear like oh, "You'll do real good here", although I actually say that. :o
I thought Xng was assuming that DB was a kid cuz she was new. That's what profiles are for. I'm not trying to be an ass guys, I'm in a very jovial mood.

Not to mention that I spelled check wrong ... I believe I'm probably in need of a spanking too!

Blondie here introduces herself, and all you talk about is spanking? Tsk, tsk.
Hey to you too, DirtyBlonde. Nice choice of authors.
