I looked around and could not find any threads devoted to quotation. So, I thought I'd start one.
I have always had a fascination with great orators and writers. I will try to post at least one a day and I hope everyone will join me. I'm hoping this will be a great chance for me to read quotes from people I would never have thought to look up.
I also encourage personal quotes and things you've said that you want to be remembered for.
Having said all that here is one from me and one from someone else.

This sort of behavior is left to the psychotic, dogmatic, fundamentalist believers you see on your TV everyday letting off bombs and killing people in the name of God. Beliefs are dangerous. Beliefs allow the mind to stop functioning. A non-functioning mind is clinically dead. Believe in nothing.
