A friend is over to work on my roommate's halloween costume with her, she's being a Silent Hill nurse and he is being James Sunderland, anyway she's dying her nurse costume by dabbing wet tea bags on it.
Their tea bagging jokes are making my day.

It makes me very proud that she's a Greek-American. She speaks greek very well, albeit with a heavy accent. She sang a couple of old greek melancholic love songs last time, the croud was extatic.
: )

Lucky you! : ) Does she perform more of the blues songs nowadays? I was reading an interview with her about the last time that she toured Australia in 2005. She was one of the headlining acts at the Melbourne International Arts Festival and a journalist essentially said that she was tedious and pretentious because she sang in languages other than English. She then called the journalist a wanker in Greek during one of her later performances in Melbourne, and half of the audience laughed.

Finding "Empty Bed Blues" by Bessie Smith, on YouTube, and getting a bonus, Louis Armstrong playing "Mack The Knife."

I bet everyone has seen this already, but "Garfield Minus Garfield" has been cracking me up... Jon Arbuckle's daily existential crises are awesome.

I tried out the "Cannibal Pygmies in the Jungle of Doom" game yesterday and was quite tickled by the title of the first B-movie created:
"Beware the Reign of the Relic Stalker in the Tunnels of Zanzibar!"
Pretty good, but no where near as funny as the title of a real B-movie I remember: "Amazon Women in the Avocado Jungle of Death!"

Hahahaha she called him 'malaka'?! That's funny!
From what I've read, she'll do a special performance here, a composition based on Enta Omri, sung originally by Oum Kalthoum, but with greek lyrics, with the title "ta filia sou einai fwtia" meaning "your kisses are fire". Well, it's going to be something completely different, I presume. I can't wait.

Package store prices for booze, the sweet benefit of being a military dependent (well at least of being engaged to one as I no longer count but he does until his birthday)

Going for a long walk, being childish and kicking up massive drifts of leaves. Were they not wet I would have lay down in them for a bit but they were more than a bit damp so..no. And someone had a little fire going on the allotments so the smell of wood burning in the cold air and wind was amazing.

I've created a political group that believes in everything, the facebook page for it says that, and people are still joining.
XD
It just baffles me.
I can't stop laughing.

And yet they don't kick out the guys who jerk off to comics marketed to young girls in the manga section....
