Bands/artists that should never cover christmas songs

The Darkness for starters. Oh... and AC/DC... though... I wonder what White Christmas would sound like if they covered it.

Not as god awful as a million other Christmas songs. You'd have a much narrower list if you said "Who SHOULD make Christmas songs".

This looks like a good thread for me to ask my question. On a college radio station, I once heard a band do a Christmas version of Black Sabbath's "Iron Man." Instead of singing "I am Iron Man" the lyrics were "I am Santa Claus." The song was even darker and more metal than Black Sabbath had done it. It was absolutely hilarious. But I don't know who does it. Does anybody know anything about this song or band? I'd love to own this tune.

Thanks for the research, MOUSEBLOOD. I appreciate it cuz it was driving me nuts about who it was that did the song. I never heard of Bob Rivers before. Truly a genius.

You should check out Mark Rivers as well. Don't know if they're related, but they have a similar style. He did a lot of soundtrack work for Moral Orel.

Cocteau Twins. If you don't know what I'm talking about it's better you not go looking for it.

Cocteau Twins could make a Christmas song; however, it would be iratating.

It's a Black Sabbith Christmas might be interesting.

Yes, exactly that song. I can't listen to it, the original wasn't that exciting either.

Motorhead would be intresting if you could imagine Lemmy singing `Jingle Bells`? :P

For some reason I randomly though about Vanilla Ice singing a Christmas song,...

I think it would be funny if it was some band like Rammstein or Funker Vogt.
