I'm from Stirling, a city in central Scotland. It's an ok city but it has a high ned (Scottish word for chavs) population.

Aye, my grandmother. It'd be cool if when I visited her, I could hang out with you.

If only there was a public transportation train. :P
Is there?
I usually don't venture into the city when I'm there.

There's not one where I live, but there is one in Rutland. Well more like a bus system, but whatever.

Origin? Fort McPherson, GA.
Travels? Seems like at least one suburb of every major metropolitan area of every state on the east coast of the United States.
Now? A little boondocks suburb called Crest Hill, IL.
I used to wish for a stationary life, but after almost five years of THIS place I actually feel a need to move on again... there is NO LIFE in this area (well, except a bunch of ancients who seem doomed to die here).

I highly recommend it. There's a lot of great things here. The music scene, the goth scene, the everything scene is pretty decent here. It's kinda cold and rainy a lot of the time, but maybe that just contributes to the goth population.

I would attribute the weather to the amount of goths then, haha. I love rainy, dismal weather. Wintery.
It'd be quite the culture shock leaving here to Portland, but I think I am already in love.

I currently live in the totally goth Pennsylvania suburbs. I don't like it for it is boring. I'd rather live in the city.

I lived in pa once... it almost ruined my life.. it was so depressing and the people were so rude. Ilived in the central area below Harrisburg and everyeon there acted like if you weren't born, raised and had 5 generations of family there you didn't belong.... Anyways it's just my opinion.. I haven't encountered anything like it since I left that area. Don't worry there's better places in oz.... lol

Heh, it's been a long time since I posted here. I tend to lurk a lot, but I made a vow to post more :3
I live in Mexico, in a province called Santiago de Querétaro. It's in the middle of the country.
I love the place, the city is pretty, and I couldn't care less about the people. It has nice weather and good schools, and the Violin Maker's School is here (I want to be a luthier, so that's most convenient).

Mexico is awsome ^^. I need to get out of Peru, I'm sick of the lack of music. The ones who call themselves goth around here like going to bars and discos and dance to glam and new wave music. They say "I wish you a good moon" and "dark greetings my dark friend"... *sigh*

Woo, the goths in my town are not that great. They are, mostly, self centered beings with misconceptions of goth gothy gothness... and dress "goth" just to get attention. We, the enlightened young'uns are getting elitist because of the kids confusing goth with emo, and the elders all went promiscuous and became hypocrites. The events all suck, there used to be some cultural ones three years ago but no more, just booze and... music. Usually bad bands except for mine, of course :P.
But Mexico is pretty cool, I agree! I'd love to visit Peru some day. I lack music too, I can't get anything original and internet purchases aren't an option for me.
* Edited for coherence

I live in Norway, which currently is horribly cold, dark and dysmal. *sigh* Anyone want to sponsor a plane ticket to somewhere warm? I'm tired of the snow already...
