I actually get that too, and it is damn annoying when the voice won't shut up no matter what you try and do or think, and sometimes it gets louder until it might as well be someone next to me.

A person of a higher fiber would have better foresight than this and is better equipped to stay on a task once they have begun. That's not 'follow through'. That's blind obsession through tear streaked eyes. Also a low and underhanded bit of misinformation and exploitation of the system. Though arguably intelligent, your strategy was also dastardly and contemptible. Yet more sour qualities of the 3rd Tier.
