Oookay, looks like I'm *not* moving to leytonstone. I am instead going to their offices with a list of advice from various tenants' associations and an even bigger list of complaints made against the Estate Agent in question, and going to try and get my £500 back. Plus the £2 debit card processing fee.

I should instead be moving to a location on the Isle of Dogs, which has the added bonuses of being zombie proof because it's surrounded by water (zombies are not known for their ability to swim against currents in deep water) and requiring a code and electronic key fob to gain entry to the building.

Do not do business with Victor Michael if you're renting in London.

Moo Hoo Ha Ha. I have been a busy girl, yes I have. I have discovered that HomeLet, the fellows the Agent told us did the referencing and charged them £100 plus £15 VAT per tenant, actually charge... £25 plus £3.75 VAT, or £45 plus £6.75 for the super-flash version. Biiit of a discrepancy in figures there, eh?

That's all gonna be printed off at a netcafe, along with the nice bit of legalese on Unfair Contracts (regarding their ability to take only a small portion if that of the £500 holding fee because it's only to cover reasonable costs of taking the property off the market, which they haven't even had to do), and a few of the better spelled complaints from some consumer forums regarding their practice of only ever telling people about the big list of fees after they've taken a holding deposit that's not, apparently, within their full legal right to retain.

Now I must go to bed, so that I can be awake again in five hours to call NatWest and ask about that £500 holding fee which we may be able to cancel before VM even really get hold of it.

I decided to make a proper blog, have a few rough drafts of posts done up, and I'm going through the blogger registration...And I cannot for the life of me think of a name for it.

I just bought a lovely skirt by Michael Kors, I wanted a work appropriate skirt that wasn't too terribly conservative, sure it was a bit more than I usually spend on clothing but there was a decent sale and it is pretty much the perfect skirt.

Everybody should embrace their inner girlie girl every now and then...well maybe not everybody, that time CJ started trying on all of my dresses and danced around like a fairy princess (his words, not mine) was a bit over the top.

You would be surprised to know that i already have one. But it`s not the color i want.

I want a black knee-length skirt.
If i didn`t wake up late today, i would`ve totally went and got one from town.

Jake has a utilikilt, he does seem to enjoy it greatly, even though they are technically skirts and not kilts (as a kilt is a single long piece of fabric that is wrapped around the body and a skirt is sewn, or something like that) he gets loads of complements.

Btw Geo that skirt is adorable, be sure to post some pics when you are done

Man.. why wear five fingers when I can just go barefoot?

I have two pairs of boots, two pairs of Chucks, and a pair of flipflops. My little brother has more shoes than I do.

I am a health hazard in heels >_>
