Blood and Velvet- London Club

I would like to take this opportunity to let all you UK goths know that this Winter Solstice, Blood and Velvet is the last night in London before Christmas.
It's on Friday the 21st of December, at the Old King's Head on Holloway Road.
In addition to blinding sets from regular DJs Jussard and Psychozombie, we'll have guest DJs Sinbad (Voices of Masada) and Penfolds Nemesis (InsanitoriuM). Previous guest DJs include Paul Sticks of the legendary- but sadly now defunct- Dr Fells in Basingstoke, as well as DJ Madderz and DJ Gummi-Bear.
Third Friday of every month, and you get £1 off entry before 11.30 if you bring a flyer! The club runs till the punters leave, and that means we can stay open all the way till 5am if you so desire. Be prepared for a night of goth, deathrock, punk, 80s, and all around fun!
In the past we've enjoyed gigs from a wide range of bands including the Ghost of Lemora, Spares, Trash Monroe, and had the honour of the debut gig by the National Socialites- no band is planned for December, but the promotion team have been in talks with Inkubus Sukkubus about a future set.
We have a cash point less than a minute's walk from the pub, an excellent selection of transport links, and our bar is a) cheap, b) takes plastic if necessary, and c) does some rather excellent food! The staff are very friendly, and will get to know you if you're a regular.
If you'd like to say hey, look for the girl with the glasses and very-nearly-bum-length naturally red hair, possibly dancing like a loon or lurking beside the male DJ with the waistcoat and cravat. I have weaknesses for modern UK goth bands (Rome Burns and SBA particularly), and cheesy 80s music, so I'll run off if something demands I dance to it. You should dance too. It's fun.
