A friend of mine was shot by an idiot who had a gun and had nothing to do with the sicarios; he was just pissed at my friend for laughing at him in Halloween. A girl also died from a stray bullet. Had my friend had a gun, he would have died all the same plus killed some bystanders himself.

Deadman, you idiot, arming people does not stop criminals from shooting them, it just means a lot more people end up dead. What about taking a look at, you know, WHY people have a gun and why they feel the need to shoot someone for laughing at them in the first place? This is not an "arm everyone" scenario.

Deadman is moron, we all know this.
But arming everyone or disarming everyone is never going to work. Humans will always find some method of killing each other. It's just the way it is. And as long as people feel the need to kill each other, there going to do so. The problem isn't the fact that people are armed up to their teeth, it's because they seem to be so unhappy and desperate that killing other people makes their situation better.

No, they are. If you buy something that is specifically designed to kill or injure someone, you are pretty fucking willing to use it. Otherwise you wouldn't have bought it.
You just don't fucking get it do you? When people die, there isn't a "good guys, bad guys" scenario. Anyone, that kills someone is in the wrong.
Put it this way, Person A shoots person B's Friend, Person B shoots Person A.
It doesn't fucking matter what the conflict was about, people have still been killed. Killing isn't any more acceptable because you trick your twisted mind into believing that it's for a good cause or whatever it is you do. Killing is killing full fucking stop. If you kill a home invader or whatever, you've still killed someone, putting yourself in the undeniable wrong.

Just to put it straight here, I know I'm far from being a pacifist. But I'm still opposed to Killing people, for what ever reason.
