Midnight Train

Again, I never quite figured out if song lyrics go in here or in music, so they go in here for now I suppose.

Midnight Train:

Chorus:
The station tracks are growling as the Midnight Train approaches,
and a thrillful fear fills my heart as I say goodbye to all I know.

Verse:
I set out now to find the truth, to see the world anew.
To learn of things long gone and people long since dead.
To see the wonders far beyond my small and shallow home.
Live again so far away, and yet so very close.

Verse 2:
My heart is weak and it is worn, but beats now I have gone.
Finally free to travel, and free to see it all.
Back there on that station, oh so very long ago.
Got on that train and found my place, and found new ways to live.

Verse 3:
I went away back then to mend a worn and weakened heart.
Went away to see it all, Liberty and Taj Mahal.
I have seen the wonders now, and all there is to see.
Now the Midnight Train has come for me at last.
