Tekajo was apparently banned for demonstrating a 'negative attitude', for finding QGirl irritating despite that her forum polling skills were appropriated by the admins to 'liven up' the boards, and possibly for voicing a distaste for Adam Lambert, of whom blueblood magazine took pictures once.
The admins had this to say:

I seem to remember that around the time I joined, people were complaining about mass bannings of older members. Does the admin just get a bug up their every couple of years, and start banning on a whim?

This is fucking stupid. I've never seen Tekajo act other than reasonably...... shit, he's one of the most chilled people on here.

I read the blog and if they think that warrants bannings well then there are going to be a lot more bannings. Tek was never anti-admin and he has always been civil, I can't recall him being part of any major disagreement, with admin or other members. If someone like him gets banned then I can only assume that it wont be long before I do as well.

I was annoyed by qgirl, too, but they didn't ban me.

Seriously, just leave for a while, and lurk, but don't post to see how things are going.

The admins should make a poll before banning any old members with post counts of higher than 1000 or so.

You didn't post about how she was most likely linked to the admin or about the admin's link to blueblood.

Oh yeah and Vince's post that seemed to have crossed the line was deleted, I went to go quote it so you all could see why he was banned but it and about a page of dialogue have been removed.

Back in "the banning times" the only new members that got banned were new accounts from older members. The longer people are around the site the more invested in it they get and as such are more likely to openly resist any major changes, that or the admins just wanted to get rid of the old guard so that it would be more easy for them to shape the boards.

In exchange, the admin can ban : Unimatrix, Tam, Catch and Mindlessone.

That sounds like a fair deal to me.
