I may be a "hippy liberal", but I'm not smelly, for one thing! I have nothing against Texas personally, except for the extremely high rate of executions which I think is way overboard. But that's a topic for another thread.

Ooh, executions are another area where Florida can compete with Texas. I mean, we can't really compete, since noone can touch Texas, but we're up there. Yay Florida.

Someday, you'll meet someone who will strike you as so incapable of having an intelligent conversation, and so devoid of any real depth, that you'll see why executions can be a godsend. Hey, whaddyaknow....im praying for one right now.

Here and I thought that we goths were supposed to be tolerant of differences. Perhaps you just haven't read enough of my posts to realize that I in fact do have a great deal of depth in my conversations, Deadhymn. Oh well, can't be popular with everyone. There will always be those who wish to simply strike down those with opinions different from their own.

It's ok if you write lame stuff sometimes, I think we all do, even those who think that they're absolutely infallible.

See stuff like that might be one of, if not the main reason DeadHymn has issues with you. You are obsessed with being "a goth" that it comes off as lame. I mean come on, "I don't wear black 24 hours a day, am I less of a goth?" or "What is some good goth music to listen to that if someone heard me listening to it, they would think I am a goth?"
Settle the fuck down bexxle

Oh Al is just a huge sack of clever tricks!
Onixx is obviously not bexxle. Too unoriginal. It's probably an anagram for Nixxon, as in 'Zombie Richard Nixon'..?
Actually I think the real story is more boring than that.

Settle the fuck down? Excuse me, I'm not getting worked up. I have self-esteem issues, and it's not like I'm "thinking about being goth 24/7", I'm just curious as to what constitues goth and what doesn't. I don't care whether anyone else hears me listening to goth music, either- you people make too many assumptions without actually knowing me. I just want to branch out and find new bands I've never tried. All haters fuck off!

Well, you know very well I wasn't talking about you, Xnguela. I'm rather fond of pink. And not light, little-girl pink either- more like hot pink. I think hot pink and black go very well together (they're the colors of my bike)! I think that black, pink, purple, and red are all tied for my favorite color. And Onixx is not Nixxon, either. :P

Well before you do shut the fuck up, I have a question: I had breakfast this morning, but it wasn't quite gothic enough. Should I have burnt the toast so at least one item was black? And is Count Chocula gothy enough?

That's just silly. I don't even think toast could be made to be gothic, black or not. Or can it? Gothic toast...hmm, Xnguela, any ideas on that? I don't even think that toast fits into the category of things that can be gothic, hehe! Let's all lighten up and stop fighting.

Yeah, I suppose we could do that, Xnguela, but I really don't think it's absolutely necessary. I mean, there are some things which are obviously not gothic, but others kinda blur the line.

banning goth look
At my school goths are not the most liked people in the school mostly beacuse i go to school wit a bounch of rednecks and wiggers. And they think we are scary. my school doesnt even have a dress code but we are (only the goths) are not allowed to wear chains, make-up or anything they call not right for the rest of the class. in virginia people are scared of gothics they wont let use in some stores. but all that will change when people realize we arent all that bad.

MUCH more objectionable, from their point of view.

Underwear over someone's clothes can look quite ridiculious. It's funny just thinking about it!

**Thinks back to Madonna in the 80's** The administration at your school Xnguela was terrified that the horror that was most fashion in the 80's might be returning.
