Somehow, I lost my appetite watching the venus fly trap devour that insect. Yet, I agree there is an exotic beauty in carnivorous plants. ^_^

That's nothing. What's more disturbing was this clip I saw on some nature show, once, about preying mantises & how some get so big they don't just settle for ordinary insect prey. One ate a friggen humming bird!!
Personally I like venus flytraps.
They, oddly, remind me of some ex-girlfriends

I love carnivorous plants! My last venus flytrap died a sad and painful death at the hands of my basenji. Alas, dear devourer of insects, our time together was too short.
