I lay thee down
I Lay Thee Down
I lay thee underneath the sorrow
Pain, agony once held within
Now forgotten amidst the endless fog
I taunt thee
No where to be found...
Wallowing in confusion
For ones' eternity
I follow thee
At each corner...
Following the despair that awaits'
Throughout thy shallow time
I shall kill thee
When thy time has rung
For the cycle has yet begun
-----
Crap mood so I made this. Enjoy +/- what ever.

This is pretty terrible, it's just a bunch of words thrown together and the words themselves are pretty damn boring.

Well, I can't really put it kindly, but it seems as if a pig shat in your head.
Thank you Withnail. =]

Hahaha like I said I got bored so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm no actual poet .
For the L.A.R.P.er theory... I constantly change the role I play which for me is inevitable.

You're avoiding the question through a pseudo-philosophical statement. =/

Stick to fighting with plastic swords.
Poetry is not something you just "have a go at", despite what some new-age twaddle may have you believe.

Actually considering it's nothing more than a form of art involving a roundabout way of conveying some sort of message through use of unnecessarily convoluted wordplay I would assume it is something you can "have a go at." It's not like it matters after all... whether or not it's considered good by people who have or claim to have credibility in the field.
Then again, I know absolutely nothing of poetry; I'm just make assumptions based on empirical observation.

I see Starke Von Oben's 'Go Back To School' and raise him a 'Go Fuck Yourself."

Yeah, you can totally "have a go" at poetry. It's not like it's a sacred fucking art form or anything.
Hell even if it was, then this forum would be dark hole of artistic blasphemy anyhow.

I like it. Very original and full of poignant pain. Looking forward to hear more about the cycle.
