Some of you may not have heard about this little kerfuffle but fairly recently Ellen was named as the new spokesperson for JC Penny and a group called One Million Moms finds this highly offensive and have demanded that she be fired.

Everyone knows that the group is extremely conservative but man they are really letting their bigotry come out on this one. It is no surprise that JC Penny is supporting Ellen as their spokes person (and doing so has proved to be not only the right thing to do but also a good financial decision) but support has come from a much less expected source: Bill O'Reilly. Okay so he isn't directly Ellen so much as saying that it is wrong for people to demand that a company fire someone because of their lifestyle, but him equating what they are doing to a McCarthy era witch-hunt was kind of awesome to hear.
