Nope, my parents don't ask.

And DHD, my parents are the same way. But when my dad found I ever had a Myspace, he freaked out and grounded me for a whole month from the computer, then just fromthe internet, then the internet when he wasn't home, then from the internet in my room. I still haven't gotten the internet back in my room even though I have been good (on this computer) and it's been a year.

At that point, I'd pay for my own internet. Let me see my precautions. I delete everything from my computer, I have code words, I also protest practically anything with moving forward in my relationship. My parents want in my life, but me, being the snotty teenager, just want them to provide the living necessities including phone and internet, and not go into my personal life. They can stay in family life.

I love my dad, I mean I know he cares. But sometimes I think he makes decisions that are just not right. He is always against me doing this and doing that. I can't go anywhere or do anything. And if I do get to go somewhere I have to call him and make sure he knows where I am at every breathing moment. I can't get anything pierced, I can't do anything with my hair, he is pretty much now starting to control my life. I mean I know he cares, but sometimes it's just a little too much. But maybe some day if I ever have kids (which I doubt I will) maybe I will understand.

O.o I have to call my parents every hour when I'm alone from the house. But everything else, I have moderately less parental control. O.o If I had parents like that I'd think I'd run away for a day and stay at a friend's house who he doesn't know just to say "HA!" Your father scares me.
