I'd like to change mine a bit more frequently, I think. Now that I know how to do it...

The current 'Chimming Bong' has a bit of a back-story. Nothing to do with marie-jeanne! While I was teaching, I got collared into writing the school's plays. So I went with panto. One year I did a version of Cinderella. I always wrote in a narrator or two, so there'd always be a visble prompt if necessary, and that year we did have two. One was an 11-year old, the other a 7-year old from my class.
So, when he got to the point where he was supposed to read "And the clock was chiming...BONG!", he actually read out "And the clock was chimming-bong!". Everyone just went "Awwww, bless 'im". So the next year when I wrote a version of Snow White and the Seven(ty)Dwarves, I called the magical (and totally barking) place where they lived Chimming Bong Wood, in honour of him.

And yes, I did say Seventy Dwarves. But that's a story for another day!

My signature is from a document called "The Hacker Manifesto". The second to last line has always comforted me.
