Nox Arcana, Holy Shit!

I just heard nox arcana. They are amazing! If you haven't heard them before go listen to some of their songs. I liked the "Necronomicon" album best.

Love them. I am very fond of the albums "Carnival of Lost Souls" and, oddly enough, "Winter´s Knight".

I love Nox Arcana, in particular the Transylvania and Shadow of the Raven albums. Personally the remind me of Midnight Syndicate but I prefer them over MS for some reason.

Check out DunkelNacht if you like dark ambient style stuff. Nox Arcana is pretty cheesy to be honest, wasn't impressed at all.

Thanks for the tip, PoS! I hadn´t heard about them. Just downloaded one of their albums, and I must say I´m impressed.

God, Nox Arcana and all the bands like that are absolute horribly cheesy shit, and not even in a good "ironic ha ha funnytimes way".
Anyone can make that cheesy shit with a minor amount of pro-tools knowledge.

Well, the album I just got from DunkelNacht, "Das Leiden für die Ewigkeit" or something like that wasn´t -that- cheesy. But yeah, I mostly just put on Nox Arcana as a backdrop. Muzak music, sort of.

Here's another dark ambient recommendation. Link is to album description w/ DL link.

http://csendhajnal.blogspot.com/2008...dask-2005.html

While you're there, check out the rest of the blog. It's mostly extreme metal, with emphasis on death and black, but some other goodies as well.
