I think the dude is great. I'm a little worried about what consequences there might be for him having hatchet-clobbered Jesus, but then again the last time someone did him in there wasn't much of a problem so it might be ok.

He did indeed hatchet-clobber Jesus - and with good reason too!

Okay. So I watched this. Granted, his choice of response was a little extreme, but considering what he was up against... However, he did save one lady's life, albeit there was no mention of whether the other victim survived after this the attempted vehicular homicide. Considering what this monstrosity had already confessed to, I shudder to think how many other victims he'd had -- or might've had, if not for the hitchhiker 'hero.'

That being said, just for the record, the hitchhiker 'hero' in question did not hatchet-clobber Jesus. He hatchet clobbered some delusional maniac who simply thought he was Jesus. (Jesus, just for the record, did not go around ****** 14-year-olds, hitting people with vehicles or threatening the lives of innocent strangers. So, this guy was not Jesus, nor was he even a "Jesus freak." Freak -- yes. Jesus -- no).

I'll tell you what Jesus freaks do, however. The do what some of the kids in one of our chruch schools did (which of course did not make the media), albeit made it into a church publication. They go into malls where there have been tragic mass shootings -- and pass out roses to the owners of the kiosks and stores, whose windows are draped in black, coupled with pictures of the victims. They then tell people there how sorry they are about the shootings and the sad aftermath, even though they are not personally responsible. They promise not to allow the shooting in question to stop them from hanging out at the mall with their friends, and promise the store and kiosk owners that they will pray for them and for their safety. They then walk out of the mall and see the black draped pictures of the victims in the windows on the way out -- along with the roses. (In short, real Jesus freaks don't hit people with anything deadlier than a rose.)

Jaye: I feel you took offense at my comment at least, and for that I would like to apologize.
I meant no disrespect towards sane religious people or Jesus as a religious figure.
I am sorry.

Not offended, TR. Just making a point. However, even if you had you know I would forgive you anything.

Aw Jaye, you are sweet :3
And you are right of course, this maniac's actions had no relation to Jesus or Christianity ^^

Errr that's not exactly accurate. There are certainly people who do horrific things for their religion and Christianity is no different

You're right, Sol, I'm sorry to say there are people who do horrific things for their religion, and Christianity is no different -- but then those people aren't real Jesus freaks or Christians for that matter. You'd be amazed at how many people call themselves Christians, but if they actually met Jesus they wouldn't like Him very much. But then, maybe you wouldn't.

In all seriousness, it should be obvious to everyone that the kid-******, dude-crushing, woman-smothering individual is not literally Jesus. An infinitely more likely case is that he is a dangerously unstable person who was a threat to others.

It's good that no one was killed, I really hope the unfortunate guy he slammed his car into recovers.

Would it be less offensive to go with Hatchet-Clobbered Antichrist? Apparently the guy did get up from his head wound...

Did it survive the thorough hatchet-clobbering?

His bail is set at $1 million."

What's that? You wanted a techno remix?

The internet provides: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDQTvuP1Dgs

here's the news story: http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotat...&v=16oUKdOUstU

Apparently the crazy guy survived & he targeted the PG&E worker because he was black.

So, to review: insane, racist, pedophile, rapist who thinks he's Jesus is stopped by Kai and his enchanted hatchet.

I had to think through the whole thing, before I could really say what I thought about it. On the one hand I'm not really big on people killing other people. However, if it weren't for Kai, more people would have died.

It takes a pretty awesome person to cleave someone with an axe, in order to protect others. I hope he had a good time surfing.

In order of preference, I'm sure it goes something like:

Never needed to happen at all
Subdued non-violently
Violently subdued, nobody died.
Violently subdued, people die.

It would be really nice if "hey don't do that, you're hurting them" would be sufficient to stop the guy from plowing into one person and attempting to smother someone else.

At last count, no one is dead, because of what happened here. Failing to stop the insane large man would have very very likely resulted in an unknown number of deaths
