Title loan, title loan,
Will you make me sob and moan?
December begs your green embrace.
Will February make me hate your face?

As kind of a hobby at work, I'm trying to imitate the voices of my coworkers. I've got one of them down somewhat, but the others are a a little more challenging.

My school system made us and Spanish was the most practical. I decided to take Latin, which was arguably the least practical. At least it taught me proper grammar, unlike my English classes.

I went to go see that Avatar movie (with 3D glasses! OMG) at like 12 AM last night, so I only got four hours of sleep before I had to go into work.

The style of that is lovely Honeythorn. Can't say I care for the colour personally but I'm sure it will look great on you.

I chose that colour since its for a steampunk type of outfit and goes better with the rest of the style of stuff I have for that, a black one wouldn't go so well.
There is another corset I want when I next get paid which is this one

Oh, that one is nice. I'd quite like a leather corset myself but can't currently afford one. One day though, I will have one,

You know, I think I'm actually going to loop "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" instead of the World War II air raid siren on the music that plays through the casino.

Oh, honeythorn, those are pretty! And they are a good deal as well - about half what I would've expected them to cost.

Try and see it on Imax 3D if you can. The visuals are unbelievable. The plot/story/script could have been a lot better, though.

Arrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!! There's a tiger on the loose in the Houston area!
The threat is significant as the tiger is the Bengal kind, not the putter.

All we have is an Odeon here, but they had a 3D screen and I got glasses of course . I enjoyed it very much! True the story is nowt new, but it was a good film all the same.

Oh? So the 3D thing works now?
I haven't seen anything 3D in like... ten years, probably more.

I was impressed with the 3D effect. It's nothing like those cheesy paper red/blue glasses from the 80's.

Hah, I think those are what I'm thinking of. I vaguely remember seeing something at Disney World ten years ago or more. Along the lines of "Honey, I shrunk the audience".
Though around maybe five years ago I saw something in 3D at the IMAX in London, I think that was some kind of documentary about sea life. The effects in that didn't really impress me either. Still, I'm willing to try it again.

I haven't seen the film yet but I did read an article in Wired magazine about the process James Cameron went through to get this picture made.
At one point he took Victor Pace, an underwater camera specialist who had worked with Cameron on "The Abyss" and "Titanic", to Sony's hi-def camera division in Tokyo to tell them how he needed them to build a new kind of lightweight, maneuverable, digital, HD 3-D camera in a 50 pound dual-lens unit. Conventional 3-D cameras weighed 450 pounds at the time.
Sony agreed to develop his design, and the first tests were done in World War II fighter planes. Then to make it financially viable for theater owners to adapt their business to the new 3D technology, he let other filmmakers use it, starting with "Spy Kids 3D". Eventually, he addressed theater owners at their convention and convinced them they needed to upgrade their cinemas or they were going to miss out on the wave of the future.
The article is a fascinating glimpse into an extraordinary man, and worth reading. Based on what I've read, it's probably a lot different that what you've seen in the past. So the visuals and 3D are probably going to be better than anything you've seen before. I didn't expect much from a movie about a ship until I saw Titanic.
Just don't examine the story too much. I've read a lot of comment's like Mir's all over the web.

Got all my Christmas shopping done yesterday and went on a huge grocery shopping spree today. This is it for shopping until after Christmas, seriously crossing my fingers that I will have enough money to buy a computer, Kim's going home for Christmas tomorrow and will be gone at least a week, so no computer til she comes back Maybe I'll ask my brother if I can get a lend of his laptop until next semester starts.

With all the Christmassy stuff going on, I found something to attend that is more up my street.
The Return of 9 Lessons and Carols for Godless People
After the sell-out success of last year's shows, the beautiful fusion of twisted variety night and splintered Royal Institute Lectures returns. Each night will consist of award-winning scientists, songwriters and comedians. Robin Ince's guests include Richard Dawkins, Ben Goldacre, Josie Long, Simon Singh, Dara O'Briain, Robyn Hitchcock, Shappi Khorsandi, Chris Addison, Brian Cox and many many more.
Fuck yeah!
