Eyeliner

A long-lasting one. I wouldn't like to go to the bathroom every few hours just to fix it or to get the panda look.

Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a long-lasting mascara too. Mine just seems to disappear after a few hours.

I haven't had a problem a problem with mascara not lasting, I use the cheap Maybelline that comes in the pink tube, it seems to stay until I wash it off. As for eyeliner there are ones that go on like felt tip markers and those ones say really well almost too well (Loreal makes some nice colors but they don't really come off unless you use a makeup remover)

My best advice is to buy a small, hard, angled eyemakeup brush, get it wet, dip it into the color your eyeshadow you'd like to use as eyeliner. Been doing it for years, 'cause I have shaky ass hands and don't do so well with eyeliner pencil. Hope it helps, although if you want to draws little spiderwebs and shit on your face it probably won't work!

I use a cheap eyeliner from H&Mīs, and it stays on for days - Iīve tested that (donīt do this at home, kids) - as long as you give it a foundation to cling to. So, Be certain to use foundation also on your eyelids, then put some white or neutral eyeshadow as a base on the whole lid before applying the liner. For additional lasting effect, mist with hairspray or a makeup fixative.

I also use the pink Maybelline mascara - it was actually recommended to me by the professional makeup artists Iīve worked with - and as long as you donīt rub it, it will stay put. Just train yourself not to touch your face more than absolutely necessary.

Thank you.
Could you please explain about the foundation?

Sure. Just use normal foundation (I use a fluid one from Numeric Proof, "Fluide visage smart skin foundation" in FV10 Ivory) on your entire face and remember to sweep some over your eyelids. If you usually powder your face, then also powder the eyelids. Since I donīt, I use a high- quality white eyeshadow from the Makeup Store as a base. With a big, broad brush, apply this up to your brows. Donīt take too much if you donīt want it to show or look artificial. You might need to define your brows with a pencil or something after doing this, because they tend to look paler because of the white. Then apply whatever other eyeshadow you want to use, if you use any, and when youīve finished that, apply the eyeliner. -Then- apply mascara, because if you do this earlier, your lashes will look grey from stray white eyeshadow.

The important thing is to know which products you can buy cheaply, and which should have better quality. Eyeshadows and liners can be bought cheaply (although my personal favourite, whenever I can afford it, is a somewhat more pricey golden thing from Maybelline or LÓreal, canīt remember the brand), while any fluid skin foundation and face powders should be the highest quality you can comfortably afford. I always buy my stuff in dedicated makeup stores, but then I do have some training as a makeup artist and prefer to have professional tools.

Well, thank you, it sure helped.
I will surely try this.

Again my problematic, invisible brows.

L'Oreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Eyeliner lasts for hours (and nothing else could last for more than half an hour on my eyelids) and has a great brush.

I do this as well - it makes your eyes look much larger than pencil eyeliner.

Not how he does the eyeliner, for women, same thing, but more black eye shadow.

I quite liked his hair, but the black lippy and eyeliner thingies were, ugh, rather cliche.

I know. He starts out so not interesting. At the end he is freaky hot. That is one excellent tutorial. I do agree with the make-up though. That is Clubber Goth. Only time it is appropriate is at the club. However, the eyeliner where he outlines outside the lower eyelashes and then inside is exactly right. You don't have to to the extended egyptian eyeliner for regular daytime makeup.

I have decided to make more hair and make up vids. People are so lost on this and I just don't understand.

um...his makeup looks like crap and his application of the eyeliner is really bad, he pulls a lot on the skin which causes a lot of wear on the thin, sensitive skin around the eyes.

Here is the finished video to answer all of your question; except, why I don't look like this all of the time.

Those are very expensive. But I'd suggest, Coal.

Oh, to the OP. This is expensive, but Urban Decay makes this amazing thing that you put on before your eye makeup that keeps it from creasing or running. It's hell to take off at the end of the day though.

Yes I have and it doesn't work. It has to smear and lip liner just smudges.

Well if you want it all smeared together into one color then just buy darker lipstick. Seriously. Revlon has a shade called Black Cherry that looks just like the end result you got from mixing eyeliner in.

Then you're dong something wrong and/or using the wrong liner.

For the record I was not exactly speechless because I was in awe of your ability

I tried substituting eyeliner for lipliner once in 9th grade and it didn't achieve the effect lining lips is supposed to at all.
