First Grandfather on Gnet?
This is my last post for a while, my daughter is in labor delivering my grandson!
My wife and I are going to the hosiptal to meet her and her hubby.
She has a very nice private room, with an attached room for the incubator.
My grandson's name will be Dane. I like it, reminds me of Beowulf!
Talk to you all later! When I come back, I may the first grandfather on Gnet!

Congratulations to you and your family, Humane. I have a candle lit and dedicated to the Warrior facet of the Goddess for your daughter's strength and the safe delivery of your grandson-I hope that you and your's don't mind this small gesture.
Dane is a wonderful choice of a name. It is full of courage and integrity.

I don't really know who to congratulate you or the child on being born with such an interesting grandfather. It's always nice to know you have a grandfather who does somthing with their life, now just be sure to avoid the retirement home.

Grandbaby Humane is here!
HOOboy! What a night!
Wow! Thank you one and all for the well wishes!!! I am very honored!
My daughter had to have a C-section, so once Dane was safely in the nursery for us to look at, I was more worried about my daughter. But then, once they wheeled her from the surgery room to the recovery room, she was screaming: "I want my baby!!!", then I KNEW she was going to be all right!
But it was two hours before they considered her recovered enough to bring her to her private room where we were all waiting, and then another hour before they brought the baby! Sheesh!
I am really tired (even though I didn't do a darn thing but harass the nurses) so I am going to bed, but tomorrow I will post photos of the little gothling.
7 pounds 15 ounces, and 19 inches long, with blue eyes and sandy blond hair.
The eyes may change after a while. His mommy was resting well after they gave her a morphine shot in her I.V.
