Out of boredom, Demonista strolls into the randomness thread. In the centre of it, she lights three lily scented incense and sat beside it, cross legged on the floor.
"What a day..." She sighed, watching the wisps of incense smoke curl into the air "I order some curry and it's never spicy enough anymore..."
She continued to watch the incense slowly burn away, it's hypnotic aromas lulling her to sleep.

I hate incense.
I like the smell but I'm asthmatic and it always makes me cough. Cigarette smoke makes me cough too.
Also, I have a slight lisp and I can't pronounce it properly.

Demonista glares at Magpie, but forgives her for her hate of incense.
Instead, Demonista puts a huge bubble blowing machine in the middle and watches that instead.
"Is that better?" She asked.

Magpie takes deep breathes as the incense is taken away and the air cleares.
She thanks Demonista for her forgiveness and sits down to watch the bubble blowing machine.
"I like bubbles," She says.

"Yes, yes" Demonista replied "Bubbles are like little beings sent from heaven to remind you of your innocence"
She and Magpie sat like they would near a campfire, but instead, watching bubbles.

And they also remind us to stop everything and enjoy rainbows when they appear, because they go away so fast!

I stopped on the way home to look at two trees budding leaves that were strinking shade of green. They looked beautiful with the dark grey sky as a foil.
Then I started to feel like a bit of a gimp and continued walking.

Happy to get the blood flowing. Also happy to know you're every bit the kinky monster that I am.

I'm a recovering catholic, and let me just tell you as Tori put it best, "I have enough guilt to start my own religion".

Oohh, former Catholics are so much fun to play with
Sometimes I tell my mr. "God's watching you." and it bothers him to no end.

Yes, the repression and guilt can be a funny toy... And I am sad that I used to empathize hugely with Tori Amos when I was 16 , and I still do...

Not to take away from the current conversation, but I have a question and I wasn't sure where else to ask it: is there a thread dedicated to short stories and whatnot? There's one for poetry, but I didn't see one for fiction. Anyone?

I have a little question: What is the proper way to pronounce Siouxsie Sioux? I've never really heard anyone speak it before.
