I think we probably have longer life expectancies, so we should still be laughing. Living in countries with socialised healthcare and low rates of violence and all that, and not being paranoid about every youtube clip or bit of New World Order ranting we come across. If nothing else, we've probably got healthier hearts from not being scared of everything all the time.
