It's not reasonable to get angry when you give people four hours during the working day to comment on a couple of Myspace pages for bands with nothing to listen to.

I'm sorry, didn't mean to get all worked up. But what am I kididng, even when I do get around to it, nobody will care anyways. It's just another stupid band that will suck and have no meaning anyway.

I mean seriously, I'm not a musician, how am I actually going to make a fully functional band, I can't do anything right.

That's quite the 180 turn there, "Hey listen to us and add us.... wait don't, I cant play music! we suck! Where'd this myspace come from!?"

So what, half of the punk bands in the 70's couldn't play. I mean, look at sid vicious, He couldn't play bass if his life depended on it. And there was this one drummer, I forget the name, that kept dropping the bloody sticks. It's for fun, do what the fuck you want and stop taking life so seriously.

I just know anymore. Is it really going to make a difference in anything. I can scream my head off about animal rights and squatting, will anybody take notice?


And Jack, i know that most of them couldn't play, i'm just tired of not being able to find anybody to not not play with.

It's not easy dude, my band has one song and we're holding together by threads. We're auditioning for a new drummer because the other one got his pathetic ass kicked out.

It doesn't have to make a difference if you don't have kids or you don't want kids. In that case, there isn't really any point in making a difference, but that's just my opinion.

Also, if you can't find anyone to make music with, stick an ad in the local or state rag. I did that and was successful in starting 3 bands. Well, successful in starting them but not really in making music, but it was fun.

I guess I'll try those suggestions. i've always wanted to take an ad out in Maximum Rock N' Roll or Profane Existence, maybe I'll actually do it.

If you can't find anyone to play with, just play by yourself. Play some songs you write in the park, or something, they'll find you. If people could find instant success as musicians, the ones that truly matter would opt out and just stick with their jobs as a cashier at some store they partially own, and the like. Give it more time, man, keep rocking... and you will find success.

Uh... I'm in a three person band, we've been together maybe 6 months, have six songs ready for or close to ready for recording and another seven or eight in the works.

Maybe you guys just formed shitty bands? Band chemistry is paramount. Try finding other people.

The band I formed was shitty, they just wanted to mess around and they never wanted to practice... besides they wanted to play screamo... well, at first. Then they wanted to play black death metal, which is when I said screw it.
